Another Chinese cargo plane carrying more relief goods for flood affectees arrived here on Sunday.The plane, which landed at old airport, contained 89 tonnes of cargo carrying 2,000 tents as per demand of the government of Pakistan.The consignment was received by Chinese Commercial Counsellor, Wang Qihui and handed over to the officials of Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) at the airport.According to the Chinese Consulate officials, their government have already delivered relief goods worth 50 million dollars so far as an international contribution to the Pakistani nation for the flood affectees. Last week a consignment of 1500 tents was delivered to the PDMA.
The Chinese were also running a field hospital at Makli in Thatta and treating over 600 to 700 patients per day, an official of the Consulate .
In addition, the doctors from Army Corps of the China were also treating patients in Sehwan Sharif of Dadu district.
