Spanish Enclaves in North Africa Called 'Occupation'...

http://www.ansamed.info/en/top/ME12.XAM12110.html

SPAIN: TENSIONS RISING AT BORDERS OF CEUTA AND MELILLA
(ANSAmed) - MADRID - Tensions are rising at the borders of the Spanish enclaves in Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla.

Since last weekend a committee that claims the ''liberation'' of the enclaves started putting up banners reading ''Occupied cities''.

According to El Pais, posters with ''occupied'' written on it in Spanish, French or Arabic appeared last weekend on the access roads to Findeq, a few kilometres from the border of Ceuta, after in April similar banners were spotted at the Moroccan customs house at the border of Melilla.

Spanish diplomatic protests to remove the banners have failed.

The first to follow the example of the Melilla customs house was the mayor of Beni Enzar, a town with 25,000 inhabitants close to the enclave's border, who has decided that all the Municipality's documents must include the statement ''occupied city''.

He has also tried, so far in vain, to get other Moroccan municipalities to follow his example.

At the border of Beni Enzar, the main access road to the city of Melilla, a few dozen Moroccan citizens demonstrated last Friday against the visit by the President of the People's Party, Mariano Rajoy, to a regional conference of his party in the Spanish enclave.

The border had to be closed for more than two hours due to the protest.

The spokesman of the city of Melilla, Daniel Conesa, has asked the Spanish central government to take diplomatic steps to ask the Moroccan authorities to ban demonstrations that lead to the closing of the border.

(ANSAmed).

liberals want peace, safety, prosperity, respect, freedom, liberty and equality

Republicans are scum

Socialism without taxation!

Socialism
Without
Taxation

I was more pissed off than a Libertarian who didn't receive his IRS
tax refund in the mail.
Ever since the 16 amendment was ratified by Congress in 1913, the
nation has been engulfed by lamentations from the right wing about
taxation. That 's been the selling point of the Republican party for
years. And the Libertarian Party, but who gives a loving shit about
them. The critics from the right of late, sing in chorus about
whiners who cry about victimization. They make claims that minorities
have nothing to complain about anymore. Everything is just pee chee
king. However, comes april 15, the right transform into that whiny
victim that they decry. You want to hand them a handkerchief to dry
their eyes out. That very handkercheif was produced in a sweat shop
in Honduas by 13 year old kids. But whoa Neally ! The real problem
is that state & Federal tax on that hanky. NOT ! Next to the gun
issue, right to life issue, and prayer in the schools, the right has
nothing to bitch about. Take away their big tax issue, the right is
impotent as a 75 year old White Fundamentalist Christain Male. Yeah,
their Anti-goverment allright, Libral goverment that is. They want
their goverment to replace it. If they were Anti-goverment, they'd
be Anarchists. Yeah they talk about goverment interference in the
free Market. You bet your goverment contract that these poor innocent
Corporate conglomerates aint gonna shead no tears, when the local
Health department makes Josè
fish taco joint put up signs in the bathroom "wash your hands after
taking a dump". Don't fool your self, Capitalists and Goverment are
the best of friends. It's give and take relationship. You build a
handicap ramp and we'll give a big fat subsidy. Don't let no
Conservative tell you likewise. But this taxation fixation, holy
crud ! You'd think all your money goes to some gangbanger in
Compton, who buys crack with food stamps. Not really ! Or your tax
money is going to some demented artist pissing on a canvass, then
some curator hangs it up on a museum wall. Please. Very little money
goes to social services or the arts. A chunk of it goes to the
maintenance of the parks and roads. The biggest hunk, goes to the
military. You know ? we got to maintain them nuclear missiles in
them silos. And you got to give 4 star generals free pool cleanings
and back rubs.

The only way to cease this constant whining about Taxes,
is to abolish it. Repeal the 13 Amendment. Progressive taxation is
just aint gonna cut it. What should be establish is a voluntary Tax.
Sort of a donation to a charity. The donors & beneficiaries would be
issued Social Services cards. These cards would entitle the card
holder to benefits like welfare, Unemployment accounts, free housing,
food, clothing, Education, and Free Medical treatment. To create
a voluntary system would be more a incentive for giving. Just
remember, those who help in the time of need, will be helped in their
time of need.

As it stands now, what we got is a political Dysteleology.
Which means...Socialism for the rich, and Capitalism for the poor.
It's time for a reversal.

These are just idea's and concepts for you to contemplate.
There are no more new ideas in the world anymore. It's just a planet
keeping old ieas on a life support system. Time to pull the plug.

We busy ourselves excavating medieval ruins out on the farm.

UN Calls Censorship a "Human Right"

UN Calls Censorship a "Human Right"

And remember, your president does not believe in American sovereignty. He is an internationalist, and believes we should abide by international law.

Censorship is the law of savages and serfs. It is a giant step backward into a dark age. That a seventh century brutal and unforgiving political "religion" is dictating its oppressive law on the modern man calls for a revolt. This cannot stand. The Organization of the Islamic Conference is driving the UN bus. Their objective is a world living under islam. Their objective is to deny us our unalienable rights endowed by our creator (and that has nothing to do with moe or his minions).

If there are people who want to live under the boot of Islam, that's their business. Keep it in those countries. Not here. Not now. Not ever.

UN Calls Censorship a "Human Right" Dallas Blog (here)

The United Nations believes that the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has a "human right" to impose censorship on the media to "promote (Muslim) religious tolerance." UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will even hand over funds for the OIC to ensure that strict censorship on the media will be enforced when reporters shed a negative light on radical Islamic militants that include, Osama bin-Laden, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, al-Shabaab (Somalia) and Abu Shayaff (the Philippines).

According to Fox News, "concerns about censorship were raised after the 56-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which has tremendous sway in the United Nations, successfully pushed through a resolution that creates a watchdog to monitor how religion is portrayed in the media."

The OIC claims it will enforce religious tolerance by ensuring that the (Muslim) religion is not mocked. An incident occurred when Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed instigated Islamic riots. Yet, the United States and the European Union members on the council voted against the resolution, worrying that it will censor the press and assault freedom of expression.

As reported by Fox, "the resolution now opens the way for the Human Rights Council to select a special investigation on religious freedom to "work closely with mass media organizations to ensure that they create and promote an atmosphere of respect and tolerance for religious and cultural diversity."

The UN loves to use irony when implementing new policies. Mr. Ban appointed a so-called "Human Rights Council," to be the media watchdog to impose censorship. Meanwhile, the UN hires and appoints investigators to seek and punish whistle-blowers and aid in cover-ups of corruption by initiating "sham" investigation inquiries. The UN also hosts "Transparency Summits," even though Mr. Ban is notorious for hiding internal UN documents from public scrutiny.

The UN is an enemy of humanity. They are the combination of Nazism, Communism and Jihad. The total cocktail of totalitarianism, oppression, hate and injustice.
The place where Evil gets to be equal with good by the imposition of a culture where all is relative.

Reason #456 Why We Need To Pack Off The UN To Some Third-World Rathole.

Forget Facebook: here's five social networks you've probably missed

Forget Facebook: here's five social networks you've probably missed

The disastrous ends of Bebo and Friends Reunited and MySpace's continuing plunge don't mean social networking is dead. Here are five that have stayed under the radar

In an online world dominated by Facebook and YouTube, it's easy to bypass the many tonnes of other social networks floating around the net. Some of these sites are equally - if not more - useful than the big boys of the online world. Here's a list of the top five that are worth a browse:

Stroome: Riffing on the Dutch verb meaning 'to move freely', Stroome is the foremost online video collaboration hub around. Launched officially in April 2010, the site aims to connect journalists, filmmakers, travellers and anyone else with a video camera, allowing them to upload their films to and then collaborate with other users to create new video, audio, and photo mashups from every corner of the world. While the Stroome community is still small with only 500 members based in 40 countries, the opportunity and potential for growth is substantial. Think YouTube and Wikipedia rolled into one big creative melting pot.

Legal OnRamp: Legal OnRamp has been hailed as Law 2.0, enabling in-house lawyers and a few invited external private legal professionals to network and collaborate on various legal decisions and strategies. It stems from the idea that lawyers should learn from each other when advising on the same points of law. Legal OnRamp offers a legal FAQ forum where lawyers can ask questions such as "I need to sack a 60-year-old, what do I need to know?", a community where business deals can be facilitated, as well as events. Think LinkedIn for lawyers only.

Elixio: You've probably never heard of it because membership is by invite only. Similar to other elite networks such as aSmallWorld and Decayenne, Elixio is a gated online community that aims to keep the MySpace and Facebook rabble on the other side of the fence. So what's the compelling reason to join? Well, because it's a community of less than 14,000 mostly business professionals, Elixio hosts networking opportunities for the creme de la creme. Post a query about wine distribution opportunities or legal and tax advice for start-ups and you will most likely get a well-informed answer. Have a spare yacht or a home to sell? It's more likely that you'll sell it safely on the Elixio marketplace rather than on Gumtree.

Multiply: Multiply prides itself on being a safe, private space for families to share their photos with their real friends and family members. Media is uploaded into the steel-trap-like 'media locker' where nobody but approved friends may view. Blogging, chat function and fully customisable skins. The advert-free premium account fully backs up all media, supports HD video and allows users to download their media onto their desktop as a zip file. For the privacy-conscious, Multiply is a safe bet.

Gaia Online: And from the real to the surreal, Gaia Online is a submersive community for teens, similar to Second Life. Created by comic book fans in 2003, the site now has more than 10 million members and continues to grow. Users participate in activities to collect Gaia Gold, a virtual currency used to buy swag for virtual homes and gussy up their anime avatar. That's all fairly standard social media fare, but what really distinguishes Gaia is its message boards service. According to TechCrunch, Gaia's online forums rank second in popularity only to Yahoo, clocking in at over a billion posts.

What gets Obama's goat?

What gets Obama's goat?

Obama has been in office roughly a year and a half.  That's long
enough to get a handle on what motivates our president.  He's pretty
binary.  When he's not partying with rock stars, he's either apathetic
or angry.  Here, in no particular order, is a little list of Obama's
responses to both world situations and domestic policy initiatives
that have occurred so far during his administration:

Health care bill:  Apathetic.  (Yeah, it passed and, yeah, he made the
talk show circuits, but he was a follower, not a leader on this one.
The momentum came from the Democratic Congress.)

The Green Revolution in Iran:  Apathetic.  (Obama had the opportunity
to topple the Iranian government using the power of the Iranian
people.  Instead, after a prolonged silence, he damned the Iranian
people with faint, frightened praise.)

The Gulf Oil Spill:  Apathetic.  (Notwithstanding his promise to find
"some ass to kick" - a phrase that, with repetition, takes on weirdly
homoerotic connotations, or is that just me? - Obama has done little.
Alternatively, what little he's done, has been obstructive or
unconstitutional, without actually affecting that endless oil flow.)

The Iranian Nuclear Bomb:  Apathetic.  (Although that's not quite
true:  when he's not being frighteningly quiescent, he's been working
to water down sanctions against them.  That goes beyond apathetic and
veers into self-destructive, with America, the Middle East and Europe
as the "self.")

The cratering economy:  Apathetic. (Obama is making noises about
spending yet more of tax payer money to prop up his already disastrous
plans, but he's been remarkably passive about the whole thing, helped,
perhaps, by a frightened Congress that is now pretending there is no
budget at all.)

The Fort Hood Massacre:  Apathetic. ("What Fort Hood massacre?  But
while we're here, I'd like to give a shout out..")

The two front war (Iraq and Afghanistan) that America is engaging in
against Islamic jihad:  Apathetic. (Hello!  Is anyone home at the
White House?  As you may recall, despite meeting multiple times with
Andy Stern, of the SEIU, Obama didn't have time to meet General
McChrystal, who was running the Afghanistan side of the war.)

Continued Islamic jihad directed at the American home front:
Apathetic. (He's handed this one to Holder and Napolitano, and they're
just doing a wonderful job, aren't they?  They've now got the entire
Pentagon going through all documents with white-out to delete any
reference to Islam.  Obama remains apathetically above this fray.)

State efforts to stem the terrible criminal and economic consequences
of uncontrolled federal borders:  Anger (at the states drowning in
crime by and welfare claims from illegal aliens).

Israel's efforts to stem the terrible genocidal consequences of Hamas
on her borders:  Anger (at Israel, which is in the fight of her life
against entities whose sole goal is her total destruction).

The military's deep concern at the fact that the Obama White House is
mishandling our two front war in Iraq and Afghanistan:  Anger. And
this is the one that sparked my post.  Huge, earth-shaking things have
been going on around the world, and Obama has acted in a bizarrely
passive (or, sometimes, passive-aggressive) way.  But General
McChrystal does a rather foolish interview in Rolling Stone, and
suddenly Obama is all action:

===>

President Barack Obama was "angry" after reading Gen. Stanley
McChrystal's remarks about colleagues in a Rolling Stone article,
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Tuesday.

McChrystal - the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan - has been
recalled to Washington to explain his actions to the president. He is
expected to meet with Obama in the Oval Office on Wednesday, Gibbs
said. Gibbs refused to speculate about McChrystal's fate, but told
reporters "all options are on the table."

<===

Any citizen should be shocked by this:  Obama will see McChrystal, not
regarding how to win a war as to which Obama is commander-in-chief,
but to give McChrystal a dressing down because the latter hurt Obama's
witty-bitty fweeings. We don't have a man in the White House. We have
a giant ego, unattached to morals, intelligence, strategic skills or
anything else useful.

My Mom told that that her retirement community which, judging by lapel
pins back in November 2008, went 80-90% for Obama, is having buyer's
remorse. They say that they had such high hopes for him, and he's been
such a disappointment. I tell her that we in the conservative
community were a large, howling pack of Cassandras, desperately trying
to get the truth out there - and we were roundly, and soundly,
ignored.

She also told me that the residents were so willing to give him a
chance, "hoping he'd grow on the job."  None of them seemed to have
figured out that you're already supposed to be grown when you hit the
White House.  It's not a practice job; it's the real deal.  It's
unnerving to see a building full of people who demonstrate that age
does not necessarily beget wisdom.

It's arrived ... Complete control over the people

It's arrived ... Complete control over the people

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally upon us. According to The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act making it's way through the Congress, Barrack Hussein Obama can shut down the internet in the United States when ever he wants to. If he gets in a bad mood after a crappy round of golf, all he has to do is say, "Shut it down" and folks your access to the internet is over for up to 120 days. (4 months) That's no internet communication. No email, no access to your bank accounts, or businesses that require internet to operate. (like mine)
The senators driving this forward claim Obama already has the power to do this by the Communication Act, if there's a threat of war. That's certified b.s. If that were true, then why the need for this new policy. And if it is true, our government is out of control with far too much power.

Joe Lieberman said, "Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too." THAT is a frightening statement! Those in our government want the same control over us that the Chinese government have over their people.

This article at Prison Planet explains the real motive for this bill: The real agenda behind government control of the Internet has always been to strangle and suffocate independent media outlets who are now competing with and even displacing establishment press organs, with websites like the Drudge Report now attracting more traffic than many large newspapers combined. As part of this war against independent media, the FTC recently proposing a "Drudge Tax" that would force independent media organizations to pay fees that would be used to fund mainstream newspapers.

It's difficult to grasp the fact that we have the most corrupt people on the planet running our government and they are moving to stop us from communicating ... That kind of power in the hands of people like Barrack Hussein Obama, Cass Sunstein, Janet Napolitano, Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi is a very dangerous situation to be in.

One of the guys I worked with at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center had been a student assistant at U of Wisconsin at the time this happened working in that same building.   When it was blown up he decided to leave Wisconsin and moved to NYC.

What bothers me is that just like Ayers and Dohrn, this guy still thinks he did the right thing and that it was necessary.
