**JP** Re: [pakistanpress] Re: Letter to Editor - God Save the Leader

What do the campaigning politicians in the US and most of the West do?  Do the same here -  addressing people on TV, in big halls and meeting their voters by going from door to door.

Giving the example of Schools and markets etc., please work out yourself the ratio of the attacks taking place upon those places vis-a-vis the political rallies. And by the way, how well are the schools guarded now a days?  Can the political parties ensure that kind of security for their masses?  If they can't they MUST not expose them to the danger as well.

There is no question of succumbing to Jihadis (trained by the army as you are so fond of calling them) but it is just common sense and self protection.  No need to be fool hardy.  Why do you close and when needed bolt the doors of your house?  Are you succumbing to the thiefs and the robbers? As simple as that.

Jafri Sb,
They are politicians and they are supposed to be with and close to the people. It is a very basic requirement of their job. Following your logic, would you also recommend that: children should stop going to the schools because schools are attacked; people should stop going to the markets because bomb blasts can take place, .....No Sir, that would be like succumbing to the Army/ISI-trained "Jehadi" terrorists....

Dear Jamal Sahib:

Agreed, I was being sarcastic but that was out of spite for the leaders who get the naive innocent killed just for their glorification. For example, did BB not know it that in October 2007 the rally she was leading in Karachi would proceed at  snail's pace and cover the distance from airport to Mizar e Quaid - in 10 to 12 hours and that too at night?  Would such a procession not  provide the terrorists with an ideal target and with the time and space of the attack of their own choosing?  She had been warned against it by all and sundry and that's why a bullet proof fortress of a truck was built for her personal safety alone.  Any stupid person would have anticipated the attack and she was much more intelligent than any one else to have known of the danger.  Then WHY in God's name WHY did she insist upon the rally and get around 150 people killed.  150 families deprived of their bread earners.  Do such leaders have even an iota of concern for the lives of their followers?  Why can't they address them over the TV etc. instead of exposing them to the naked dangers and get them killed.

Now, please do not tell me that she also got killed in the same process.  No, Sir, had she stayed inside the vehicle nothing would have happened to her as all those inside the bullet proof Land Rover remained unhurt.  It should be interesting to find out who asked her to stand up in the open cupola which resulted in her death.

 Assalam-o-Alaikum.
I think your favourite leader the former commando President is not able to address a public rally of even a thousand people, thats why you are passing such sarcastic remarks about others. And to make my position clear I don't belong to any party but am replying only because your sarcastic remarks about a former Major ( Aftab Khan Sherpao) seems to be in bad taste.

Dear Jamal Khan

LETTER TO EDITOR
March 3rd, 2012

God Save the Leader

A suicide bomber struck near a car carrying the Chairman PPP (SP Group) Aftab Khan Sherpao and his leader-in-the-making son Sikandar Khan Sherpao, who were leaving after addressing a rally in Shabqadar, KPK. God saved the leaders though a number of their followers including 4 Policemen were injured one of whom succumbed to the injuries. More injured may also meet their Maker but thank Almighty Allah (SWT) that our leaders are safe with only some dust from the blast on their august faces and clothes.  It is really gratifying and merciful of the Lord that our leaders – with the exception of the BB – always escape death otherwise, God forbid what would become of us wretched mortals and of Pakistan without them?!  I hope our dear leaders won't be deterred from such blasts on the most likely targets that they present to the terrorists by collecting thousands at one place and not resort to addressing the people over TV channels. We beseech them to keep addressing the rallies in greater and greater numbers to outdo each other in proving their popularity and superiority of numbers of their followers and  what does it matter,  If a few good-for-nothing miserable ones are blown in the process?  Who cares?!

Calgary Herald: Father arrested for girl's picture of toy gun

More political correctness gone awry.  Just one more reason why all socialists and progressives should be shipped off the continent of North America:

Father arrested for girl's picture of toy gun

Read more: http://www.calgaryherald.com/Father+arrested+girl+picture/6209132/story.html#ixzz1oaQwspvG

Daddy, are you mad at me? Those were the first words out of the mouth of a scared little girl to her father when he was released this week after being charged with possession of a firearm because of a picture she drew at school of a man holding a gun - which turned out to be a toy.

On Wednesday police in Waterloo, Ont., arrested Jessie Sansone, 26, a resident of nearby Kitchener, when a teacher at his daughter's school voiced concern over the drawing, Insp. Kevin Thaler of Waterloo Regional Police told Postmedia News.

The school contacted Family and Children's Services, which then called police, said Thaler.

During questioning, Thaler said the child, along with her siblings, provided police with a "detailed description" of a gun that was stored in the home and was accessed by the children.

"The kids were scared," said Thaler. "It is a four-year-old that we're taking the information from, but the fact is that this disclosure was very descriptive and very alarming to the officers investigating this."

It was a typical day for Sansone, who had no idea when he arrived at Forest Hills school to pick up his children, including four-year-old daughter Neaveh, that three police officers were waiting to arrest him.

Informed he was under arrest for possession of a firearm, Sansone said he never was told the details of why he was being arrested.

Thaler said the arrest was made "because it was the end of a school day."

"The officers' concern was . . . the need to secure and locate the firearm," he said.

While he sat in a police cell, Sansone said officers took his wife, Stephanie, who is pregnant, and his four children to the station for more questioning.

At some point during the investigation, police became aware that the gun was a toy pistol, information that was confirmed when they found it in the family's home later that day, said Thaler.

"The child had every belief it was real," said Thaler. "The indication from the kids was that it was dad's (gun)."

Sansone denied that his children thought the gun was real or belonged to him.

"It's a toy pistol," he said. "It's completely transparent. It doesn't even resemble a real gun, at all."

Police released Sansone about four hours later, said Thaler.

"The first thing my daughter said when I saw her was, 'Daddy are you mad at me?' " recalled Sansone. "That sums it up to me."

On Friday, Sansone said his name has been slandered by the incident. He said he was upset with how all the authorities involved handled it.

Abstract of Title... TOO RICH~! L O L ~!

Subject: Abstract of Title...

Part of rebuilding New Orleans caused residents often to be challenged with the task of tracing home titles back potentially hundreds of years. With a community rich with history stretching back over two centuries, houses have been passed along through generations of family, sometimes making it quite difficult to establish ownership. Here's a great letter an attorney wrote to the FHA on behalf of a client:

You have to love this lawyer...

A New Orleans lawyer sought an FHA loan for a client. He was told the loan would be granted if he could prove satisfactory title to a parcel of property being offered as collateral. The title to the property dated back to 1803, which took the lawyer three months to track down. After sending the information to the FHA, he received the following reply:

(Actual reply from FHA):

"Upon review of your letter adjoining your client's loan application, we note the request is supported by an Abstract of Title. While we compliment the able manner in which you have prepared and presented the application, we must point out you have only cleared title to the proposed collateral property back to 1803. Before final approval can be accorded, it will be necessary to clear the title back to its origin."

Annoyed, the lawyer responded as follows:

(Actual response):

"Your letter regarding title in Case No.189156 has been received. I note you wish to have title extended further than the 206 years covered by the present application.
I was unaware any educated person in this country, particularly those working in the property area, would not know Louisiana was purchased by the United States from France in 1803, the year of origin identified in our application. For the edification of uninformed FHA bureaucrats, the title to the land prior to U.S. ownership was obtained from France, which had acquired it by Right of Conquest from Spain. The land came into the possession of Spain by Right of Discovery made in the year 1492 by a sea captain named Christopher Columbus, who had been granted the privilege of seeking a new route to India by the Spanish monarch, Queen Isabella.
The good Queen Isabella, being a pious woman and almost as careful about titles as the FHA, took the precaution of securing the blessing of the Pope before she sold her jewels to finance Columbus's expedition. Now the Pope, as I'm sure you may know, is the emissary of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and God, it is commonly accepted, created this world. Therefore, I believe it is safe to presume God also made the part of the world called Louisiana. God; therefore, would be the owner of origin and His origins date back to before the beginning of time, the world as we know it, and the FHA. I hope you find God's original claim to be satisfactory. Now, may we have our loan?"

The loan was immediately approved.

John McCain: Founding Father of the Terrorist Emirate of Benghazi

John McCain: Founding Father of the Terrorist Emirate of Benghazi

Thursday, 08 March 2012 15:51

Benghazi declares autonomy, raises Al-Qaeda flag. McCain seeks to spread terrorist empire to Syria.

Tony Cartalucci Activist Post March 07, 2012

"I have met with these brave fighters, and they are not Al-Qaeda. To the contrary: They are Libyan patriots who want to liberate their nation. We should help them do it." - Senator John McCain in Benghazi, Libya April 22, 2011.

Even as McCain deceived the world with his comments in pursuit of overthrowing and destroying the sovereign nation-state of Libya, it was already a matter of record, according to America's own West Point Combating Terrorism Center, that Benghazi, and much of eastern Libya known as Cyrenaica, served as an epicenter for global Al Qaeda recruitment. Militants hailing from the eastern region's Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) would end up in both Afghanistan and Iraq fighting Western troops and participating in sectarian violence.

This included LIFG leader Abdul Hakim Belhaj aka Abdul Hakim Hasadi, who first fought alongside the CIA against the Soviets in Afghanistan, then against US and British troops before eventually being captured by the US and handed over to Qaddafi who imprisoned him for 7 years. Upon his release, he would promptly be sponsored by NATO and the likes of John McCain, given arms, money, and training just as he was by the CIA during the Soviet Afghan-invasion, with the addition of NATO close air support in his bid to overthrow the Libyan government.

Video: McCain can't plead ignorance - international news has covered Al Qaeda's involvement in Libya, and now in Syria for well over a year.

Belhaj and other militant factions constituting the "Libyan rebels" would go on a genocidal rampage throughout the country, encircling cities like Bani Walid and Sirte, cutting off food, water, electricity, and emergency aid while NATO mercilessly bombed populated city centers for days, weeks, and in the case of Sirte, months.

Belhaj is now the military commander of Tripoli and has been reported to be working with Syrian militants to repeat NATO's campaign of atrocities, destabilization, and Balkanization in Syria, where he is said to be importing weapons and funds as well as LIFG fighters.

There is no doubt that the men McCain was defending were LIFG fighters, terrorists linked directly with Al Qaeda according to West Point reports (.pdf), and listed to this day by the US State Department and the UK Home Office (.pdf) as a "foreign terrorist organization." McCain was not only rhetorically supporting listed terrorists, but providing material support including weapons, funds, training, and airsupport in direct violation of USC § 2339A & 2339B, "providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations."

In a recent turn of events, it has been reported that the city of Benghazi has declared autonomy from Tripoli, raising the Al Qaeda flag and becoming in effect, a terror-emirate, one whose capital McCain had stood in, praising men who had American blood on their hands and were in the process of (and still are) carrying out racist genocide. Thanks to McCain's support, the forces of Al Qaeda have achieved in one year what Qaddafi had prevented them from doing for decades. They now have a vast region, rich in oil resources gladly siphoned by Western corporations, to use as a base of terror - one of the very supposed scenarios McCain helped send 6,000+ US troops to their graves in Iraq and Afghanistan to prevent.

But McCain's treason, national, and international crimes don't begin or end there. His International Republican Institute (IRI) was mentioned by name in the New York Times as being behind the supposedly "indigenous" "spontaneous" Arab Spring unrest in the first place. In an April 2011 article published by the New York Times titled, "U.S. Groups Helped Nurture Arab Uprisings," it was stated:A number of the groups and individuals directly involved in the revolts and reforms sweeping the region, including the April 6 Youth Movement in Egypt, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and grass-roots activists like Entsar Qadhi, a youth leader in Yemen, received training and financing from groups like the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and Freedom House, a nonprofit human rights organization based in Washington.

After helping overthrow the Egyptian government, McCain would lead representatives from Wall Street's Fortune 500 corporations on a tour of Cairo like conquerors surveying their new dominion. He would also taunt the heads of state of both Russia and China, revealing the final destination of the chaos and destabilization he has been helping along by claiming, "I would be a little less cocky in the Kremlin with my KGB cronies today if I were Vladimir Putin. I would be a little less secure in the seaside resort [of] President Hu and a few men who govern and decide the fate of 1.3 billion people."

The work of McCain's IRI more recently manifested itself when it was caught meddling in Russia's elections late last year and again just this month. The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a US government funded umbrella organization under which the IRI falls and the IRI itself, were behind several US-backed NGOs, particularly GOLOS, seeking to "expose voting irregularities." The purpose of this was of course to cast doubts on the validity of the elections and justify street mobs brought out by the Russian opposition groups the IRI had been cultivating in an attempt to trigger an "Arab Spring" in Russia. And just this week, echoing his frothing warmongering over Libya, McCain called for US airstrikes on Syria. Promoting the use of America's military while being unable to cite any credible or imminent threat to US territorial security would seem like a punishable offense or at least a sign of mental instability and grounds for dismissing the aged Senator. Instead, McCain represents the public face and voice of the corporate-financier agenda of Wall Street and London which has plotted a premeditated blitzkrieg from Tunisia to Thailand, and eventually to the doorsteps of both Moscow and Beijing.

On the eve of possible Western intervention in Syria, and with warmongers like John McCain, fellow IRI chairman Lindsey Graham, and Senator Joseph Lieberman calling for a repeat of Libya, it is essential that Americans look at the Al Qaeda flags waving over Benghazi and recognize McCain's role helping hoist them aloft.

Thousands of American troops have shed their lives in a war they believed was meant to fight these very men now being handed nation after nation by US senators like McCain, who in fact were the principle proponents of the wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq. We are not witnessing a wave for liberation and democracy sweeping the globe, but rather a sinister deception paved in blood, terror, and betrayal of all kinds crafting a world not for 'we the people' to thrive in, but for Wall Street and London to feed on.
