Barney "The Gay Dinosaur" Frank Wants Runaway Inflation

Barney "The Gay Dinosaur" Frank Wants Runaway Inflation

Yes, you heard that right.  Barney Frank wants runaway inflation!

Why?  Well, first answer me this:  What happens when the Fed increases interest rates?  Historically, inflation ratchets up.  Currently, there are several members on the Federal Reserve Board who are "hawkish."  That means, with all this monetizing of the debt under the enigmatic title of Quantitative Easing, they are VERY concerned about runaway inflation if the Fed increases the interest rates.  Right now, since the Fed and Congress have mucked around too much with the economy, it's a game of plugging holes in the economic dam as fast as you can to keep it from bursting and drowning America in a tidal wave of rapid inflation.  Obviously, keeping interest rates low is paramount to keeping the structural stability of a damaged economic dam in check.  Barney Frank wants to pull that emergency plug by getting rid of those hawkish board members.

So, back to my original question:  Why?  Well, considering that Barney Frank championed ACORN until it became a political liability and was, quite literally and figuratively, in bed with Fannie Mae which began the financial collapse of our economy in 2008, one can only conclude that Barney Frank continues to embrace the Cloward-Piven Strategy to effect Change you can believe in.  Either that, or he has been smoking way too much ganja:

Rep. Frank targets Fed hawks
Wants to strip regional bank presidents of FOMC vote
May 3, 2011,

Under its current structure, 12 of the Fed's 19 members vote at interest rate setting meetings. The seven members of the Fed's board of governors in Washington, who are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

The regional Fed presidents are picked by their individual boards of directors, often regional bankers and local business leaders. While the president of the key Federal Reserve Bank of New York also always has a vote on the FOMC, the remaining eleven Fed bank presidents rotate as voting members.

In a discussion on CNBC of his bill, Frank said the current Fed structure is undemocratic. He noted that regional Fed bank presidents are not picked by elected officials, so they should not vote on key public-policy issues such as setting the level of interest rates.

In other words, Barney Frank wants to strip control from the board members on the Fed and give absolute control over the interest rates to the government!  More government, more control, more economic disasters.  Does anyone care to guess as to which ideological path this is heading down?  I'll help you out:  Communism!

Regional Fed bank presidents are picked by their boards of directors, made up of regional bankers and local business leaders.

"I think it is fine for them to sit in and make recommendations," but when it comes to voting they should be excluded, Frank said.

Their presence as voting members "it totally inconsistent with any kind of theory of democracy," Frank said.

"It undermines legitimacy when you have literally people who are in the financial industry picking people to vote on setting interest rates," Frank said.

Uh...  Okay, let's all pause for a moment and let the hypocrisy of Barney's statements really sink in...

Re: Democrats won’t be laughing for long.

Hey Greg: Donald Trump isn't a "gift" to any party. Being from NYC,
he has always had to 'see' solutions to the problems the Dem's always
harp about. But the man has to be major pro capitalist, because those
are the tenants in his buildings and the ones willing to lend him
hundreds of millions of dollars based on just his quality reputation,
dependable character, and the heavy collateral of his real estate
holdings. That man knows and understands the capitalist system better
than 99% of the public officials in Washington. When the people are
MAD at government, they will favor the honest man who has the balls to
look angry and talk about our... fucking oil problem. When the soft-
skinned Dem's heard V. Pres. Biden "whisper" "f...... big" to Obama,
the first word got bleeped out. When it comes to saving the USA
economy, I'll favor the man with the vision and experience to "fix the
damned ice skating rink." Left, right and independents shouldn't
mind if it takes a few... "f........" to get the job done! — John A.

World's Lagest Menu Item

Today I Found Out

The World's Largest Item On A Menu Is Camel Stuffed with Lamb which has Been Stuffed with Chickens which has Been Stuffed with Fish or Eggs

Posted: 04 May 2011 07:00 AM PDT

Today I found out that the largest item on a menu in the world is whole camel which is often stuffed with a lamb which has been stuffed with chickens which has been stuffed with fish or eggs;  the whole lot also tends to have rice and other fixings mixed in at each stuffing stage.

As you might expect, cooking this particular menu item is no easy culinary act.  So, given that it's hard to get an invitation to such events as dinner parties with a Sheik, where it is occasionally served, and the relative difficulty and expense of preparing the thing, it's not surprising that, for a long time, whether such a menu item was actually ever prepared was a controversial topic of discussion among foodies of the world, despite it being in the Guinness Book of World Records.   However, documented cases of it being prepared can be found, such as in The Fearless Diner by Richard Sterling where he both partook in such a dish and met someone who'd actually been asked to make it for a wedding for a Sheik, which he subsequently did.

One of the most popular variations of this dish is in the cookbook  'International Cuisine', 1983. This particular version of the recipe says you first skin, trim and clean a medium-sized camel, lamb, and chickens and boil them until tender (one wonders where you get a pot big enough to boil a whole camel). Precook the stuffing: peel hard boiled eggs, cook fluffy rice and mix it with fried nuts. This stuffing goes into chickens which together with more rice go into a lamb. Finally, the whole camel should be stuffed with the stuffed lamb and even more rice, wrapped in palm leaves and broiled until brown over large charcoal pit 3 feet in depth and served with rice. It takes about 20 to 24 hours to cook the stuffed camel and it can feed as many as 80 people.

Bonus Factoids:

  • Camel meat has been eaten for centuries. A whole roasted camel was recorded by ancient Greek writers as a dish in ancient Persia at banquets. Camel milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins with less fat and cholesterol than cow milk. Also, camel's blood is sometimes consumed as a source of iron, vitamin D, salts and minerals.
  • One of the most popular stuffed recipes in North America is Turducken – a boneless turkey stuffed with a boneless duck that's stuffed with a boneless chicken; the gaps in between are filled with cornbread, oyster and sausage. The dish is an American invention by the southern chef Paul Prudhommes.
  • Among the most bizarre dishes in the world is a balut which is a 15-16 day fertilized duck or chicken egg with an embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. This item is also known as 'the treat with feet' and commonly sold as a street food in the Philippines.
  • If you've ever thought "real" Chinese food was disturbing, perhaps it is because, classically, Chinese chefs had the mantra:  'Anything that walks, swims, crawls, or flies with its back to heaven, is edible'.

10 Leftists Who Need Condolences on the Death of their Hero Osama bin Laden

This could become a very long list.

10 Leftists Who Need Condolences on the Death of their Hero Osama bin Laden

Posted By Megan Fox On May 4, 2011

Inevitably, following the general pleasure at the news the Osama bin Laden is finally residing in Hell, it will come to light that certain members of the Left are quietly miserable over his passing. They are the ones for whom evil is not really definable, terror is in the eye of the beholder and America is always wrong. In other words, most of the hard Left and virtually the entire media elite. That's a pretty big list, so I thought I should narrow it down to the ones who will be the most despondent over this delightful news for America.

In accordance with the new tone of civility, NRB suggests you send a personal sympathy card to each grieving individual on the list. You can click here and email this highly appropriate condolence with just the right touch of maudlin snark. (Contact information will be provided.)

10. Patty Murray

Dubbed the "dumbest woman in congress" (although I think Cynthia McKinney is suing for the rights to that title), Patty Murray once lauded bin Laden's kindness and generosity in comparison to the callous and brutal America. No, really.

Trying to explain why Osama bin Laden might be popular in the Arab world while Americans were not, she said he was "building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day-care facilities, building health-care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. We have not done that."

Nah, America hasn't built any schools or roads or infrastructure, unless you count the 133 health clinics built by Americans at a cost of $345 million or the water treatment plants now serving almost 2 million people that cost the American taxpayers $1.6 billion or the new sewer system benefiting over 5 million people to the tune of $254 million.  Nope, according to Murray we just bomb stuff and bin Laden is the real hero.

To send Senator Murray a condolence card, post on her Twitter page (@PattyMurray) or her Facebook page and show her you care. After all, one man's brutal dictator is another man's fuzzy-wuzzy love-muffin who builds schools.

9. Medea Benjamin and the staff of Code Pink

Medea Benjamin, founder of Code Pink and famed champion of the Muslim Brotherhood and bloody die-ins, is searching for meaning in the death of Bin Laden.

Let us give meaning to the death of Osama Bin Laden by putting an end to the violence. Sign the petition to President Obama: Enough — Let the Peace Begin.

Yes, let's search deep within ourselves to find meaning in the death of a madman who seriously had it coming. That sounds like a ginormous waste of time. While the Left is doing that, I'm going to clip more coupons to help offset the skyrocketing inflation. I can feel the peace already.

What confounds me about Benjamin is for all we know she might have been working for bin Laden! But since the word "traitor" has absolutely no meaning anymore she's free to traipse about the globe stabbing her country in the back. She has hand delivered a letter from Hamas to Obama. She has hand delivered $600,000 to militant Muslim insurgents responsible for killing American soldiers. She's a courier for terror! Despite her machinations to appear glad that bin Laden is dead, I would bet it's just the opposite.

You can send your deepest sympathies to Benjamin on her Twitter account (@medeabenjamin) or email info@codepinkalert.org.

8. Cynthia McKinney

Former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, most famous for socking a Capitol Hill police officer in the face for asking her for ID, has a long history of embarrassing herself and her nation. But while her "Jerry Springer Show" antics were kind of funny at home, it got ugly when she took the show on the road.

While trying for the second time to get through an Israeli blockade to deliver "humanitarian" supplies to Hamas (which usually amounts to large amounts of cash that gets used to buy more rockets to shoot at Israeli children) McKinney was arrested. From an Israeli prison, she penned this laugh-riot.

Zionism has surely run out of its last legitimacy if this is what it does to people who believe so deeply in human rights for all that they put their own lives on the line for someone else's children. Israel is the fullest expression of Zionism, but if Israel fears for its security because Gaza's children have crayons then not only has Israel lost its last shred of legitimacy, but Israel must be declared a failed state.

I agree that Israel is a failed state; they failed to rid us of McKinney. I was hoping for a life sentence. Considering McKinney's hatred of Israel, she has lost a kindred spirit in bin Laden in the fight against the evil Zionists.

Send your e-greeting of sympathy to McKinney via Twitter or Facebook.

7. Michael Moore

Michael Moore famously stated emphatically after the towers fell that there is no terrorist threat. And since Moore doesn't believe in terrorists, it's not surprising he finds himself very concerned over Bin Laden's burial at sea. He tweeted his disapproval.

OBL buried at sea according 2 Muslim tradition. Yes most Muslim funerals I've attended, we got in a chopper & tossed the deceased in L. Erie

Personally I think he should be glad the special forces bullets weren't dipped in bacon fat. But more sensitivity is called for in this situation because as unhinged as Moore is, there's no telling what will push him over the edge. Moore is torn up over his favorite non-terrorist biting the dust and he deserves some sincere understanding.

Send him your warmest wishes and salutations at mike@michaelmoore.com.

6. Roseanne Barr

I know you've probably gone out of your way not to see or hear from Roseanne Barr since she butchered the national anthem. Me too. But if there was ever a woman crying out for help, she's it. Christian charity simply means nothing if you can't reach out to the hideously lost and so with that in mind, someone should try. Roseanne has gotten more and more bizarre over the years. Recently, she claimed the Israelis were shooting rockets at themselves.

I think rockets are being fired by your own sources, since less than ten israelis have been killed by them. You are bullshitting the world as you pocket money made from arms sales, along with bibi and your agents in Hamas. step down all men in power!

These kind of theories could have been written by Bin Laden himself. For all we know, that's where she got them! Maybe she was a big YouTube fan of his. I guess we'll never know. Her recent tweets suggests she's glad he's dead, but I don't think she really understood him. If she had, she would realize he supported all the same things she does like the destruction of Israel, lying about Israel and ginning up hate stories about Israel. And I heard he liked to dress up like Hitler and bake little replicas of Jews in his oven too.

Send cards to Roseanne on Twitter (@TheRealRoseanne).

5. Helen Thomas

Jobless and now losing a fellow anti-Semite, Helen Thomas must be in the depths of despair. Thomas has never made any secret of her hatred for Israel and support of Hamas and can always be counted on to give the Hezbollah point of view, as the late, great Tony Snow so wonderfully pointed out. The final straw that sent Thomas to the unemployment line was her caught-on-video statement regarding the Jews and her view they should return to Germany and Poland.

Lovely.

Unfortunately for us, Thomas couldn't be persuaded to return to Lebanon from where her parents immigrated. With the depth of feeling Thomas has in her shriveled little heart for members of terrorist organizations, bin Laden's death is sure to hit her hard.

Send your sympathy greetings to helent@hearstdc.com.

4. Jane Fonda

Considering how much Jane Fonda hates America and Americans at war, as evidenced by her traitorous activity in Vietnam including but not limited to posing with anti-aircraft guns that killed Americans and lying about the conditions in which our prisoners of war were kept, we're fairly certain Fonda is a sad sack upon hearing a fellow America-hater is dead. People who hate America tend to stick together.

Not only does Fonda love the commies, but she's BFFs with Code Pink's Jodie Evans who personally traveled to Afghanistan and met with leaders of the Taliban! Good gracious! It makes one dizzy just thinking about the audacity of these dopes.

Fonda is also a Palestinian sympathizer who once scheduled a meeting with Yassir Arafat. And even worse:

[J]ust days after terrorists had killed some 3,000 people on 9/11, Fonda said that instead of retaliation, the U.S. should try to understand the "underlying reasons" behind the murderous attacks.

The retaliation must be tearing her up inside.

To comfort Fonda in her time of sorrow, send your e-sympathy greeting to her on Twitter (@JaneFonda).

3. Noam Chomsky

It's time to play "Guess Who Said It!" Your choices are Noam Chomsky or Osama bin Laden.

We should not forget that the U.S. itself is a leading terrorist state.

If you guessed bin Laden, you would be wrong. Chomsky, a self-described anarchist and general America-hater is probably working furiously on a manifesto indicting the United States for breaking international law by killing bin Laden right now. Chomsky has been highly critical of the American response to Islamic terrorism and frequently downplays the 9/11 attacks:

Chomsky dismisses the atrocity of 9/11 as one that was dwarfed in magnitude by Bill Clinton's 1998 missile attack on a factory in the Sudan following the bombings of two U.S. embassies by al Qaeda, in which no one was injured.

Telling an MIT audience of 2,000 that the U.S. military response against the terrorists in Afghanistan was a calculated "genocide" that would cause the deaths of 3 to 4 million Afghanis, Chomsky denounced America as "the world's greatest terrorist state." He also traveled to the Muslim world to repeat the charges of U.S. genocide and terror to millions in Islamabad and New Delhi.

Not surprising. It's likely that Chomsky has a pretty big soft spot for bin Laden after the murderous terrorist praised him as "one of the most capable" citizens of the United States. He could definitely use an e-card and probably some tissues.

Send sympathetic musings to chomsky@mit.edu.

2. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn

Pentagon bomber and attempted cop-killer Bill Ayers joined Code Pink in their protest in Gaza against the Israeli blockade when Hamas was lobbing mortars into Israel. It's pretty interesting how connected everyone on this list is. I bet they've all been to the same cocktail party a time or two where they tell Bush jokes and plot to subvert the Constitution. Ayers and his terrorist wife Bernardine Dohrn must be singing the bin Laden blues. He did what they had plotted unsuccessfully to do. You can't tell me they weren't pleased as pie to watch the Pentagon go up in smoke. These are the same people who thought Charles Manson, who randomly and brutally killed a pregnant Sharon Tate, her husband and their friends for no reason other than he is a complete psycho, was a freedom fighter.

"First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach! Wild!" In greeting each other, delegates to the war council often spread their fingers to signify the fork.

Ayers is famous for equally alarming statements.

Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.

Osama bin Laden is clearly a kindred spirit with these two American terrorists and I assume, much like their unwavering love for communist dictators, bin Laden won't be left out of their list of "greats."

To send your regards, contact Ayers and Dohrn at bayers@uic.edu.

1. Louis Farrakhan

Often called the craziest bastard on earth (okay, maybe just by me), Louis Farrakhan tops the list of those who are mourning the death of the last craziest bastard on earth. (It is also important to note that Farrakhan and Bill Ayers live in Obama's Chicago neighborhood. Coincidence? Or have we at last located the doorway to Hell right in the heart of Hyde Park? Somebody alert George Noory!)

Now that bin Laden is dead, Farrakhan can take his place in the outrageous Jew-hating category.

Some of you think that I'm just somebody who's got something out for the Jewish people. You're stupid. Do you think I would waste my time if I did not think it was important for you to know Satan? My job is to pull the cover off of Satan so that he will never deceive you and the people of the world again.

Losing a soul-brother like bin Laden is going to leave a serious hole in Farrakhan's pool of resources for new material against Jews. Luckily, he still has his alien friends.

You can reach out to him via Twitter (@TheOfficialHMLF).

Valerie Jarrett

Like 0 – Jarrett is a muslim-marxist bitch!

She,of course, is a chief advisor to the President. There are strong suggestions that she was the only advisor to suggest NOT to go forward with the OBL attack...Here is some information that I discovered today from a old blog..

Despite the information being easily accessed, most Americans are likely still unaware that Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran, and spent her first five years in that country.  Like Barack Obama, Jarrett's initial experience was not as an American, but an American/Muslim hybrid.  According to an American Spectator report in August of 2008, the Obama campaign had initiated an aggressive program to hide Jarrett's Iranian background.  This program received significant help from certain media figures who were only too happy to comply with the Obama camp's request that Jarrett's Middle East ties were not made a public matter – even as Iranian.com declared Jarrett its "Iranian of the Day" that same month of August.  Also during that same time period, Barack Obama admitted to the New York Times that,  "I trust her (Jarrett) to speak for me, particularly when we're dealing with delicate issues" and that he ran every important decision by her first.  Read below

Jarrett's family history is rife with radical ties, including those of her father-in-law Vernon Jarrett, a supporter of such communist-American icons of the 1940s as Langston Hughes.  Vernon Jarrett was the strongest link to Chicago's Hyde Park environment that would be of such great influence on Valerie Jarrett, and then through her, shape both Barack and Michelle Obama's adult outlook upon American and its place in the world.  Again largely ignored by the media in 2008, Chicago's Hyde Park was home to such radical figures as the socialist Arnold Wolf, an anti-Israel rabbi (yes, those do in fact exist) who had pushed for increased support for the terrorist PLO.  At around that same time Rabbi Wolf was also deeply involved with the Chicago Communist Party.  Mr. Wolf declared in a 2008 Chicago Sun Times interview of other Hyde Park elites' excitement over the political potential of a young Barack Obama a decade earlier, declaring they believed to have found in Obama,  "A guy who could sell our product, and sell it with splendor!"

Some of those other Hyde Park leftist elites excited over the prospects of Barack Obama included domestic terrorists turned educators Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dorn, Tony Rezko, (a Syrian-American) Democrat Socialist member Jackie Grimshaw, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakahn, and yes - Valerie Jarrett, already a central player in the Daley-run Chicago political machine, and prior to that, a member of the Harold Washington mayoral administration.  Washington too was deeply involved with what some have described as the Chicago Communist Network.  Within just a few short years of having been introduced to these radical Chicago figures, Barack Obama found himself as a newly elected State Senator, an author of a highly publicized book (though his own past showed little evidence of having a proclivity for writing, unlike his close neighbor Bill Ayers) and on an astonishing fast-track to national politics, all the while being guided/programmed

Top 10 Last Thoughts of Osama bin Laden

[[  He should have quoted Rodney Dangerfield:  "Please, take my wife."  ]]

Top 10 Last Thoughts of Osama bin Laden

Posted: 03 May 2011 01:40 PM PDT

A friend on Facebook asked what was going through the mind of the Seal who killed Osama bin Laden. My response was:

The line from the song Kelly Clarkson sang when she won American Idol...

"I can't believe it's happening to me. Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this."

Obviously this isn't what really what was going through his head...I don't think they're supposed to allow such wimpy songs into their brains.

However, it did get me wondering...before he died what was the last thing that went through bin Laden's head...other than the bullet...

----------

10. Oh look, an E-vite to the ribbon cutting of the Ground Zero Mosque.

9. Seriously, if I ever accidentally allow my iPhone to "use my current location" I'm gonna blow my brains out.

8. I wish Biden was president, then my videos would only have to be two words, "meep meep!"

7. My dear wife I'm married to you, not my work. I would never let anything come between us.

6. Alright, more fan mail! I sure am glad Hollywood celebrities can keep a secret.

5. WTF...why did Facebook delete my "If I get 1 million fans I will legally change my name to Osama Sandiego" page?!?

4. Hey, can someone tell me why Biden just tweeted "toomorow is goin 2 b a big f**king deel?"

3. Let's see if I have any new followers on Twitter....when did the CIA start a profile?

2. I swear, seals are so freakin' cute! I hope I actually see one before I die.

1. I have to get ready, that call girl I found on Craigslist will be here any minute.

Re: Torturing Terrorists Works

The novel is hardly comparable to reality is it ? Or are
novels really a reality to you. Are you suggesting that the twin
towers were a figment of our imagination and that Bin Ladens death
came out of a 1984 novel. Huh ?
---
As I told GoB, it was a reply to MJ's Orwell post

Novels are what they are ... no, nothing in common between 84 and 911.

The little sandy-haired woman gave a squeak of mingled fear and disgust. Goldstein was the renegade and backslider who once, long ago (how long ago, nobody quite remembered), had been one of the leading figures of the Party, almost on a level with Big Brother himself, and then had engaged in counter-revolutionary activities, had been condemned to death, and had mysteriously escaped and disappeared. The programmes of the Two Minutes Hate varied from day to day, but there was none in which Goldstein was not the principal figure. He was the primal traitor, the earliest defiler of the Party's purity. All subsequent crimes against the Party, all treacheries, acts of sabotage, heresies, deviations, sprang directly out of his teaching. Somewhere or other he was still alive and hatching his conspiracies: perhaps somewhere beyond the sea, under the protection of his foreign paymasters, perhaps even -- so it was occasionally rumoured -- in some hiding-place in Oceania itself. -- George Orwell, 1984- Hide quoted text -

Fwd: Why Donald Trump should still pace the Indy 500

Jalopnik loves cars. Secret cars, concept cars, flying cars, vintage cars, tricked-out cars, red cars, black cars, blonde cars -- sometimes, cars just because of the curve of a hood.
By Justin Hyde

Why Donald Trump should still pace the Indy 500

Why Donald Trump should still pace the Indy 500Last month, the Indianapolis 500 announced Donald Trump would drive the pace car during its 100th anniversary later this month. Now several groups are advocating Trump should get bumped thanks to his political attacks. Here's why he still should drive.

From reviving the ridiculous conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States to questioning whether Obama deserved to get into Harvard or imparting much-needed life wisdom into Gary Busey, Trump has managed to spend the month ginning up controversy ahead of a possible presidential run. It's the kind of hot political spotlight that's also drawn charges of racism, sexism and questions of his true net worth.

All of which has led many racing fans to wonder why Trump deserves the job of driving a Chevrolet Camaro convertible to mark the centennial of America's most popular motor race. A Facebook group founded by Indianapolis attorney Michael Wallack devoted to bumping Trump has already grown to 9,300 supporters within a few weeks. Wallack says the race doesn't need the spotlight Trump lugs with him:

I have no problem if Trump disklikes President Obama or his policies. But to step over the line into the realm of conspiracy-mongering is not good for politics or for America. And it should not be rewarded with the honor of driving the pace car at the Indianapolis 500.

The Indianpolis Motor Speedway — which dubbed Trump a "global business icon" upon announcing him as the pace car driver — told the Indianapolis Star the complaints were "on the radar," but that it had also received messages backing Trump.

The spokesman for the track also said the decision to give Trump the honor was made not just by the track, but the race's major sponsors, including Chevrolet and Izod — giving the protesters a direction to channel some of their anger, just as Groupon pulled its ads from "Celebrity Apprentice" following Trump's birtherism babbling.

Having Donald Trump on the receiving end of "you're fired" might be a cathartic moment for many people, and his presence behind the wheel of the pace car does give the Indianapolis 500 far more controversy than its typical celebrity lineup of Florence Henderson and Jim Nabors.

But maybe he should keep the gig. Trump's true business isn't real estate or gambling or television, but attention. In one month, Trump has gone from dark horse candidate to laughingstock, so hearing the unfiltered feelings of a few hundred thousand Americans could be more punishment than prize. And for those of us who can't make it in person, we'd get to see what a convertible driving at 80 mph does to his hair.

Sometimes it's better to give publicity hounds not just what they want, but what they deserve.
