And This is Trayvon

The liberal media continues to show us the picture of Trayvon at 12 years of age, wanting us to believe that he is just some sweet innocent little boy, not the Trayvon of today as shown below.

Trayvon's backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1939/020/Was_Trayvon_Martin_a_Drug_Dealer.html

HEY FOLKS, THIS IS TRAYVON
a 6' 3" gang member

AND THIS IS TRAYVON

AND THIS IS TRAYVON
"no limit nigga" was his screen name

There is also fairly direct evidence that Trayvon may have been a small-time drug-dealer.
On Facebook on February 5th, his friend posts on his wall asking to talk business. Trayvon says he doesn't have a phone available and his friend says, "Damn were u at a nigga needa plant."

There has been very little follow-up in investigating exactly why Trayvon was suspended for such a long period of time for what seems to be the relatively minor offense of "being in an unauthorized area." In most schools, something like that would be a detention, or one-day, in school suspension at most. Not ten days.

Many people are reading a lot into the weight difference between Martin and Zimmerman (George Zimmerman, whose father is white and mother is Hispanic), but Zimmerman was also 5'9 and out of shape. I'm pretty sure many tubby thirty-year-olds wouldn't do well against a fit, 6'3, 17-year-old.

The media narrative being sold is quite clear, Trayvon Martin is the innocent victim here and George Zimmerman is a horrible bigot who attacked the young man for doing nothing more than buying skittles while being black. Even Barack Obama seems to accept the fresh-faced innocence of Trayvon, stating, "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon." More on that later.
It's becoming more and more clear however that the innocent appearance the mainstream media is so desperate to apply to Trayvon isn't at all accurate. The picture we're used to seeing to represent Trayvon Martin is when he was 12 years old and appears to be a far cry from how he actually looked once he was a few years older.

Instead the officer reported he found women's jewelry and a
screwdriver that he described as a "burglary tool," according to a
Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of
the incident came as the family's lawyer acknowledged that the boy was
suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces
of marijuana, which he called "irrelevant" and an attempt to demonize a
victim.
Trayvon's backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in
addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the
report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.
Trayvon was asked if the jewelry belonged to his family or a girlfriend.

"Martin
replied it's not mine. A friend gave it to me," he responded, according
to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend. Trayvon was
not disciplined because of the discovery, but was instead suspended for
graffiti, according to the report.
School police impounded the jewelry
and sent photos of the items to detectives at Miami-Dade police for
further investigation.
A lawyer for the dead teen's family
acknowledged Trayvon had been suspended for graffiti, but said the
family knew nothing about the jewelry and the screwdriver."

Re: Meet Obama’s Real Composite Girlfriend: Julia

Meet Obama's Real Composite Girlfriend: Julia

by Scotty Starnes

For those who don't know about Obama's love for "composite girlfriends" and who haven't seen his new cradle-to-grave campaign slide show, meet Julia.

From Washington Free Beacon:

Meet Julia.

Julia is a composite humanoid, model: 2012, unit: 44. She was manufactured in Chicago by the Obama for America Corporation by a remarkably homogenous and likeminded group of individuals whose favorite books, musical albums and (foreign) films are sufficiently obscure to the point that in some cases, they do not exist.

Julia's assembly was overseen by federal czars at the U.S. Department of Truth and Gender Warfare. Her early development was facilitated by a number of taxpayer-funded programs such as Head Start. She leans forward, slightly.

Julia is powered by American taxpayer subsidies and thin-film photovoltaic solar cells (also funded by American taxpayers). Through a miraculous combination of federal tax dollars, hope and the enlightened post-partisan leadership of her creator–President Barack Obama–Julia has acquired an artificial intelligence almost indistinguishable from mankind (or womankind) itself.

Julia can do almost anything, thanks to the forward-thinking and omniscient genius possessed by her creator, and the statutorily-imposed generosity of her human counterparts.

Perhaps most impressive is Julia's ability to bear children through a process described in certain arcane texts as "immaculate conception." This is made possible in part by a federal directive mandating that Julia's human counterparts pay for her birth control.

Julia has decent business acumen, and can perform adequately in many of the fields commonly occupied by female characters in Hollywood's more lighthearted films – web design, for instance.

However, Julia has yet to develop the capacity to achieve success absent a considerable injection of federal funding or "stimulus," often in the form of grants or loans. She was recently voted "Most Outgoing Volunteer Gardener" by the members of her commune.

Re: "Forward": The New Obama Campaign Motivational Posters

I think either Bruce or Travis posted something about this story yesterday, but it's worth reviewing one more time.....Again,  where is our resident ̶n̶e̶w̶s̶ ̶g̶u̶y̶  Asshole when there is real news?

Wikipedia Entry on Obama/Biden 'Forward' Slogan Scrubbed of References to 'Leftwing Newspapers & Publications'

Writing on President Obama's recently unveiled campaign slogan, one anonymous Wikipedia user contributed the following: "On April 30th, 2012 the Obama–Biden campaign announced the slogan 'Forward.'"

"The name Forward has been frequently used as a name for influential leftwing newspapers and publications, denoting an urge for progress," the entry added in a section titled "controversy."

However, after the entry came under heavy criticism, the "controversy" section has been scrubbed:

Furthermore, the original entry had three citations: an NPR article, "Microform review, Volume 10," and "Body Cultures: Essays on Sport, Space, and Identity." But since the writing of this article, both "Microform" and "Body Cultures" have been removed.

A number of online users have flagged the entry as junk and called for its deletion. Consequently, if you go to the "Forward" slogan entry, you'll be greeted with this:

This article is being considered for deletion in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. Please share your thoughts on the matter at this article's entry on the Articles for deletion page. Feel free to edit the article, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed.

And per Wikipedia's suggestion that users weigh in on the matter, several users have done just that. On the "Keep" side of things, one user writes:

KEEP all information related to FORWARD as it is current and a relevant discussion.; If you delete this slogan, then that would set the precedent to delete all campaign slogans of any type, and there are many Wiki entries. That's censorship. Keep Wikipedia about fact and not political opinion.

Re: "Forward": The New Obama Campaign Motivational Posters

Forward Or Downard?

Excerpt From The Patriot Post;
May 4, 2012

The Obama campaign has announced its new slogan -- "Forward." Despite the fact that his change has nearly crushed hope, he arrogantly decided to double down and press forward, bitterly clinging to failed policies. Sadly, too many voters remain under the delusion that Obama is "winning the future."

The campaign's latest ad recounts numerous "achievements" of Obama's first term, but only after thoroughly blaming George W. Bush for the nation's troubles. Obama stood up to the challenges, even though, as images of the Tea Party flash across the screen, "some said America's best days were behind us." Obama proceeds to brag about how he "saved" millions of jobs with the so-called stimulus, took on the credit and health insurance industries with regulations and "reform," grew green energy with taxpayer cash (though he neglected to mention Solyndra), took over the student loan industry, and socially engineered the military by repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Hilariously, he even boasted of $1 trillion in spending cuts, though we're not sure how that's possible while racking up $5 trillion in debt. Obama is aghast that, instead of going along happily with every desire of his heart, Republicans actually oppose his leftist ideology.

One could be forgiven for thinking that perhaps he chose "Forward" as in "Forward to the next campaign fundraiser!" To date, Obama has held 132 such events, far surpassing his predecessor. In fact, he has already held more re-election fundraisers than the last five presidents combined. For our part, we anticipate seeing his mail forwarded back to Chicago.

In all seriousness, "Forward" seems to be optimistic and to exude progress, but the history of the word lies in the socialist and communist movements, which as Ronald Reagan contended lead nowhere but downward. We certainly don't think this choice was by accident or coincidence, either. Leftists have always fancied themselves "progressives," as if only their policies will move the world "forward." In 1905, Vladimir Lenin, leader of the Soviet revolution in Russia, founded a publication called "Vpered," the Russian word for "Forward." Before that, Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky wrote for one called "Vorwaerts," the German word for "Forward." The Communist League featured a biweekly reader by the same name, with which Karl Marx and Engels were involved.

Obama will begin his campaign (officially) on May 5, which just happens to be Marx's birthday.

Obama's policies of taking over industry via regulation and redistribution of wealth are absolutely inspired by and differ only in degree (so far) from those of his socialist, fascist and communist predecessors in Europe. Small wonder, then, that his campaign now features such a prominent mantra of his ideological kindred.

In related campaign news, Obama has devoted much time and energy "celebrating" women, and indeed he should -- because, by a wide margin, they elected him in 2008. More than 56 percent of women voted for Obama versus only 49 percent of men, and women may well be the deciding demographic again in 2012. Check out this 2012 Obama campaign socialist appeal designed to lure female voters with cradle-to-grave Hope 'n' Change. To be fair, Obama should also let each woman know her share of the federal debt. You can calculate yours here.

The fictional "Julia" in the Obama appeal can look "forward" to a life lived at the expense of others, from taxpayer funded school programs to subsidized birth control and single motherhood to retirement drawing from bankrupt Social Security and Medicare. Such a "forward" vision doesn't empower women; it enslaves them to the tyranny of the socialist state. By contrast, the American ideal of Essential Liberty would lead to a Better Life for Julia.

Is Obama leading us Forward, Backward or Downward?

Mitt Romney’s Bigotry Needs No Spokesman, Gay or Otherwise

Mitt Romney's Bigotry Needs No Spokesman
By Michael Kinsley May 3, 2012 6:00 PM ET Facebook Share Tweet
LinkedIn Google +1 23 Comments
Print QUEUEQ

Mitt Romney didn't exactly fire Ric Grenell, who is gay, as his
foreign policy spokesman. But when the religious right got wind of
Grenell's hiring, his job started to shrink.

Grenell was told to sit in on conference calls with reporters and not
say anything, which is tantamount to firing him. He was told to be
silent not merely on gay issues. He was told not to talk about
anything, even foreign policy. A spokesman who is not allowed to speak
-- even internally -- doesn't have much of a job. So Grenell quit,
three weeks after he was hired.

About Michael Kinsley
Michael Kinsley is an editor and columnist at Bloomberg View. His
column appears on Fridays. For many years he was the editor of the New
Republic and a columnist for the Washington Post. He was the founding
Editor of Slate.

More about Michael Kinsley
For Romney, this is the first big flub of the general election
campaign. Until now, his smooth-running machine was one of the more
impressive things about his candidacy. It made you think that maybe,
as a businessman, he really could bring some efficiency to the White
House, if not to the government as a whole.

Besides being offensive, however, this episode is remarkably inept.
Grenell apparently was completely open about his sexuality. Why did
Romney appoint him in the first place if he was going to hang the guy
out to dry as soon as there was any criticism? (And there never was
much.) If you're going to be a bigot, at least be smart about it.

Although, as a weak-kneed liberal, I hate to talk like this, this
episode does make you wonder about Romney's guts. He portrays himself
(and probably thinks of himself) as a hard- nosed businessman, ready
to make the tough decisions that professional politicians won't.
Romney has even defended his famous flip-flops in these terms. "In the
private sector," he says, "if you don't change your view when the
facts change, well, you'll get fired for being stubborn and stupid."

I don't know about that. You see a lot of stubbornness and stupidity
in stories about business, but not so much about business executives
getting fired for it.

Romney seems obsessed with firing people. In January, you may recall,
he committed a gaffe by saying he enjoyed doing it. He seems to
consider it as evidence of a backbone and a tough hide. He also likes
to say that if you want this or that undesirable quality in your
president, "I'm not your man." This also is supposed to signal
toughness, as well as independence of thought.

Better evidence would have been telling the people who complained
about his hiring of a gay man as an adviser where they could put their
objections. And has he stopped to ask himself how he will manage to
fill a Romney administration if he excludes all gay men (and women?)
from the candidate pool?

Romney is right of course that there's nothing wrong with changing
your mind. But you should (a) be prepared to admit it and (b) be
prepared to explain it.

In his most famous flip-flop, about health care, Romney has tried,
instead, to have it both ways. He has never renounced his
Massachusetts health-care plan, with its individual mandate almost
identical to the one in President Barack Obama's. He just says that he
will veto Obamacare on Day One of his administration, because the
individual mandate is so awful.

Nor has he explained his change of mind on abortion or gay rights, on
which he once said he would be a better advocate than Ted Kennedy.

Many moderates and independents may still believe that at heart Romney
is a moderate Republican who fortunately has no principles and will
say whatever it takes to win. Actually, citizens of all stripes across
the country more or less believe that Romney's been faking who he is,
but it's moderates he must now convince that he's been lying like mad
for the past year.

He's going to need a few really top-notch spin doctors to perform this
operation successfully. Too bad for him that he just drove a good one
away.

US, China forge tentative deal on Chinese activist

BEIJING — The U.S. and China forged the outlines of a deal Friday to
end a diplomatic standoff over legal activist Chen Guangcheng, with
Beijing saying he can apply to go abroad for study and Washington
saying he has been offered an American fellowship.

After three days of fraught, behind-the-scenes and emotional calls by
Chen from a guarded hospital room, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary
Rodham Clinton said progress had been made in granting the activist's
wish to take his family abroad.

She said she was encouraged by a Chinese Foreign Ministry statement
that said Chen may apply to leave the country. Chen has been offered a
fellowship at an American university and may take his family, State
Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said, adding that the U.S.
expects Beijing to quickly process their travel permits, after which
U.S. visas would be granted.

"Over the course of the day, progress has been made to help him have
the future that he wants, and we will be staying in touch with him as
this process moves forward," Clinton said speaking to reporters after
two days of annual strategic talks in Beijing.

The quickly announced steps were positive signs that the governments
were nearing a deal to end one of their most delicate diplomatic
crises in years.

A blind, self-taught lawyer and symbol in China's civil rights
movement, Chen triggered the standoff after he escaped abusive house
arrest in his rural town and sought refuge in the U.S. Embassy in
Beijing last week.

He left six days later under a negotiated deal in which he and his
family were to be reunited at a hospital and then safely relocated in
China so he can formally study law. But he later upended the agreement
by saying they wanted to go abroad.

After arriving at Chaoyang Hospital on Wednesday for treatment of an
injury, Chen said he had no further direct contact with U.S. officials
for nearly two days, fueling a sense of abandonment and fears about
the safety of him, his wife and two children. "I can only tell you one
thing. My situation right now is very dangerous," Chen said told The
Associated Press earlier Friday.

However, Clinton said that Ambassador Gary Locke spoke with Chen on
Friday and that embassy staff and a doctor met him — further positive
signs.

"He confirms that he and his family now want to go to the United
States so that he can pursue his studies," Clinton said.

Chen could not immediately be reached for his response to the latest
developments.

His earlier pleas for U.S. sanctuary, delivered via conversations with
The Associated Press, other foreign media and friends, have resonated
around the world and even become part of Washington politics in a
presidential election year.

On Thursday, he called in to a congressional hearing in Washington,
telling lawmakers he wanted to meet U.S. Secretary of State Clinton,
who is in Beijing for annual security talks. "I hope I can get more
help from her," Chen said.

The Foreign Ministry statement that said Chen was a normal citizen who
may apply to study overseas.

"Chen Guangcheng is currently being treated in hospital. As a Chinese
citizen, if he wants to study abroad he can go through the normal
channels to the relevant departments and complete the formalities in
accordance with the law like other Chinese citizens," the statement
said without elaborating.

While the statement only reiterates the normal rights of a Chinese
citizen, it underscored the government's openness to letting him go
and gives shape to a possible solution: He goes abroad with the
approval of the Chinese government, not the U.S., giving Beijing a
face-saving way out.

Chen has a letter of invitation from New York University, according to
Guo Yushan, a supporter who helped hide Chen in Beijing after his
escape from house arrest, in a Twitter post early Friday.

At a Foreign Ministry briefing, spokesman Liu Weimin also confirmed
that Chen faces no pending criminal charges, indirectly acknowledging
that the house arrest he and his family endured the past 20 months in
their rural home was the retribution of local officials for Chen's
activism. Chen has exposed forced abortions and other abuses in his
community as part of China's population controls.

"According to Chinese laws, he is a regular citizen. He can absolutely
go through regular formalities by normal means," Liu said.

Obstacles remain. It isn't clear if Chen would have to return to his
home province of Shandong to receive a passport, as is normal, and the
statements do not mention his family. His wife was stopped in 2007
from traveling to the Philippines to pick up a humanitarian award for
Chen while he was in prison
