MINORITY WHIP SMEARS FAMILIES OF TEA PARTY ACTIVISTS WITH PERSONAL ATTACK

More Proof Washington Just Doesn't Get It

(YOUR CITY)- Today, the Tea Party Patriots denounced the smears made by House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) who said this week that, because the tea party is uncompromising on their call for fiscal responsibility and a halt on government spending, his "presumption" is that its members come from "unhappy families."

"Rep. Hoyer's comments are another example of Washington out-of-touch," said Mark Meckler, National Coordinator of Tea Party Patriots.  "We're not from unhappy families-we're Americans trying to protect our families from increasing debt and government spending that threatens their well-being.  To presume that having an 'unhappy family' is the only possible reason we could be concerned with the fiscal irresponsibility of Congress reveals the disconnected Rep. Hoyer doesn't understand what the November elections were all about."

"This newly elected Congress was given authority to promote responsible economic policy, and we are watching both sides of the aisle," said Jenny Beth Martin, National Coordinator of Tea Party Patriots.  "We will not compromise our core beliefs and yet again allow Congress to delay making the tough choices they must."

"Our local members are from stable families who show up in force to events and demand their representatives listen to them," said (INSERT YOUR NAME) of (INSERT NAME OF YOUR ORGANIZATION).  "Congress is under watch and must pass fiscally responsible legislation."

Tea Party Patriots will celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of the tea party movement on February 25-27 in Phoenix, AZ with the first Tea Party Patriots American Policy Summit:  Pathways to Liberty.  Attendees will take part in policy briefings and discussions that will show Tea Party Patriots has become as effective at shaping public policy as it was shaping the last election.  The conference is open to all Tea Party Patriots supporters who can register at http://www.summit11.org/

Tea Party Patriotsis a national grassroots coalition with more than 3,000 locally organized chapters and more than 15 million supporters nationwide.  Tea Party Patriots is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting the principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets.  Visit Tea Party Patriots online at www.TeaPartyPatriots.org.

Curse of the darkskinned woman....

BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558883481926614306
I rarely believed in such, at least not so much since i was a young child growing up in a black and white world, and in the black community a light and dark world.

Yeah, we were cursed upon, thought of as less, treated less, but i didn't let that stop me from being the beautiful chocolate wonder that i was then and now. I never listened to the naysayers, never bought into their theology, always kept it moving and believing in myself. Though i must say, many battles were fought, just because i was of the darker complexion. It's wrong in so many ways to discriminate based upon race, creed or color. but i feel even more wrong to discriminate based upon a degree of color, and that discrimination coming from your own.

Somewhere in the 80's and 90's we weren't focusing on color so much, black was black, and beauty was beauty in it's rarest form, so i ask why, why now must this stupid situation rise it's head again. Men hooking up with women just to make sure their kids are lighter than a grocery bag (not that we use them anymore, plastic is the obvious choice). But i recently read an article, excerpt about a young lady who had the pleasure or not so pleasure of meeting Lil Wayne, you know the young rapper who just got out of prison and her experience with his stupid and ignorant opinion about color via
Nicole Bitchie.com...dig in:

My friend Tammy is a model she had a couple of photo shoots to go to in Miami ..after going to her photo shoots we met up with mack maine from young money, he then took us to a hotel a couple of other girls were there and so was Lil Wayne, guda guda, Lil chuckee, and birdman. My friend Tammy is light skin and me and my friend Jessica are dark skinned chicks, when we entered the room guda guda was like "damn ya'll pretty to be dark skin" and then Wayne quoted a verse from his song "Beautiful Black Woman i bet that b*tch look better red".

I heard the song before and i was offended when i heard the lyrics i brushed my feelings off and forgot about what the gremlin said, but him saying it over again made me angry as hell, Tammy was looking in shock and Jessica was clearly upset ,so me being the outspoken person that i am i said Wayne your daughter is dark skin so why would u say such ignorance. He then said "my daughter is a dark skin millionaire that's the difference between her and u". Is this fool serious?

I can tell he was very upset because i brought his daughter up but that is no excuse for what he said next he stated "MY daughter is the first and last dark skin child I'm having, the rest of my baby moms light skin chicks i even got an Asian baby moms to make sure i have a daughter with good hair, too bad we had a son", everybody start laughing and me and Jessica stormed out of the room and some guys followed us saying "not everybody hate dark skin girls Young Money just allergic to Chocolate", of course me and my girls cursed them out..

Well, you heard it here. What say you fam?

Hey CW!

I ventured into an American style sports bar last night here in  Köln, to see if I could watch any of the games.  To my surprise, there was a rather large turn-out!  It seems that Köln has two "American Futbol" leagues, one that is junior for the kids, and one for the men.   There were a lot of dads and sons at the bar to watch the Seahawks/Saint's game, and I did catch the first half of the game at the bar....(Thankfully, Co-Moderator "The Annointed One"  was able to fill me in on the final score!).

I will now be rooting for the dawgs, the Seahawks, being that they are some pitiful cut, and slapped the Ain'ts.   I would also like to see the Pack whip Philly today,  I hate everything about Philly, but that's another story.

As a side note, if I were scouting for the Bucs (or the Brownies)  I could have found a couple of guys (and gals) last night at the American sports bar, who could have easily been an improvement over the Bucs and Browns offensive and defensive lines CW!!  There was one gal in particular, who looked as if she wanted to pick me up and toss me around a little...

On the apartment hunting front: It's a pain in the ass, and I am beginning to feel panic set in.  I like this place a lot:

NFL Playoff Schedule: Wild Card Week

by Charlie Wilmoth • Jan 7, 2011 2:16 PM EST

Here's the TV schedule for the first week of the NFL playoffs. The Steelers will be on the sidelines, but fans will be watching the AFC games closely to see who the Steelers' first opponent will be.

Saturday: The New Orleans Saints play the Seattle Seahawks at 4:30 (NBC). The New York Jets play the Indianapolis Colts at 8:00 (also on NBC). If the Jets advance, they cannot face the Steelers next week. If the Colts advance, they would automatically play the Steelers next week. The Kansas City Chiefs would be a better matchup for the Steelers, but the Colts aren't especially scary.

On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens take on the Chiefs at 1:00 (CBS). Of course Steelers fans have no love for the Ravens, but I would be interested in seeing Baltimore take a shot at knocking off the New England Patriots next week; I'm not especially confident that the Chiefs could do it. The Jets were one of two teams (along with the Cleveland Browns, weirdly enough) to beat the Patriots this year, but I wonder whether they would be able to do it twice.

Also on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers play the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 PM (FOX).
