The Law Of The Wild says kill only when you are hungry

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya's Masai Mara, said he was astounded by what he saw
:

"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said. 'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together. 'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one Impala youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'."

These extraordinary scenes followed.

and then they just walked away without hurting him.

That will get you kicked out of the Predator's Club!!!

Life is short.... forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably... and never regret anything that made you smile.

**JP** Wikileaks drama...

Why is there nothing ever in wikileaks against israel and against the interest of that country?? why all the focus is on muslims (trying to make them fight against each other), Pakistan, afghanistan, saudi, iran etc....why not against Britian, France? this is a Wikileaks drama....with specified goals .....

A Skeptic's View: Why Wiki Leaks Embarrass Pakistan And Not Israel

Where Are Rest Of Wikileaks Cables? | Why They Are Being Censored? | Why No Scandal Yet Involving American Allies? | Wiki Leaks More Questions than Answers.

Wikileaks does not make the material it receives available directly to the public. They are first censored by New York Times and several other prominent newspapers. Only 623 documents out of alleged 250,000 have appeared in public. The public needs to ask: Where are the remaining documents? Why the censorship? And why the selective release, assailing Pakistan, China, Saudi Arabia and others and largely leaving out US allies? If newspapers will release censored cables, Mr. Assange should take up a job at NYT.

Fwd: New comment on "Petition and protest against TSA molestation"

LinkedIn Groups

Here is a funny as well as informative message from Adam Savage from MythBusters: If you are offended by strong language please skip this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3yaqq9Jjb4&feature=player_embedded

It, in effect, tells us that the process is totally ineffective.

By the way if you haven't already looked it up here is the 4th Amendment for reference:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

If this isn't clear to you then you've wasted many dollars on an education.

Arguments that drag in other supposed violations of our "persons" are really irrelevant. Circumstances and conditions are different and these kinds of broad generalizations can be picked apart by any intelligent individual.

My understanding also is that the underwear bomber probably would not have been caught with a scanner. And the government has never presented a reasonable explanation of how he actually got on the plane. He had no passport, was argued onto the plane by a gentleman of some unknown authority saying that he traveled this way all the time, paid in cash for a one way ticket and finally the US authorities had been contacted by the man's parents that he might be dangerous. Yet the TSA seems to feel that frisking a nun in wheel chair, forcing a flight steward to remove her prosthetic breast and groping young children will prevent a terrorist attack.

Grow up people and see violation of our constitutional rights for what it is.

Feds are tracking your credit card without warrant

Feds Warrantlessly Tracking Americans' Credit Cards in Real Time

Federal law enforcement agencies have been tracking Americans in real-time using credit cards, loyalty cards and travel reservations without getting a court order, a new document released under a government sunshine request shows.

The document, obtained by security researcher Christopher Soghoian, explains how so-called "Hotwatch" orders allow for real-time tracking of individuals in a criminal investigation via credit card companies, rental car agencies, calling cards, and even grocery store loyalty programs. The revelation sheds a little more light on the Justice Department's increasing power and willingness to surveil Americans with little to no judicial or Congressional oversight.

For credit cards, agents can get real-time information on a person's purchases by writing their own subpoena, followed up by a order from a judge that the surveillance not be disclosed. Agents can also go the traditional route — going to a judge, proving probable cause and getting a search warrant — which means the target will eventually be notified they were spied on.

The document suggests that the normal practice is to ask for all historical records on an account or individual from a credit card company, since getting stored records is generally legally easy. Then the agent sends a request for "Any and all records and information relating directly or indirectly to any and all ongoing and future transactions or events relating to any and all of the following person(s), entitities, account numbers, addresses and other matters…" That gets them a live feed of transaction data.

DOJ powerpoint presentation on Hotwatch surveillance orders of credit card transactions

It's not clear what standards an agent would have to follow to get a "Hotwatch" order. The Justice Department told Sogohian the document is the only one it could find relating to "hotwatches" — which means there is either no policy or the department is witholding relevant documents.

The Justice Department did not return a call for comment.

Every year, the Justice Department does have to report to Congress the numbers of criminal and national security wiretaps undertaken, as well as the number of National Security Letters issued. Tens of thousands of NSLs are issued yearly — most with gag orders that forbid ISPs or librarians from ever saying they have ever been served with such a subpoena.

But the Justice Department does not report or make public the number of times it got real time or historic cell phone location information, nor how often it is using these so-called "hotwatch" orders.

Fwd: A Rally to Challenge the Obama Administration to Support and Protect Indigenous Assyrian Christians of Iraq

A Rally to Challenge the Obama Administration to Support and Protect Indigenous Assyrian Christians of Iraq

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- For the past seven years we have watched in stunned disbelief as savage Islamist extremist groups have continued to terrorize and murder Iraqi Christians. In the latest attacks, Al Qaeda-linked terrorists stormed the Syriac Catholic Cathedral in Baghdad during Mass, killing the priests in front of their parishioners, and children in front of their parents. On November 2nd the same group announced that all infidels in Iraq should be prepared to die. Enough is Enough!

WHEN: Saturday, December 4th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Lafayette Park, Washington, DC

We, the undersigned organizations, demand that the Obama Administration immediately pressure the government of Iraq to protect its most persecuted citizens. To date, the Obama Administration has failed to even acknowledge that Iraqi Christians are being murdered specifically because of their faith and ethnic heritage. They are the descendants of the Assyrians and Babylonians, who were the first converts to Christianity outside Jerusalem in the 1st century A.D., and still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus. Their plight is shared by other defenseless Iraqis, including the Yazidis, Sabean Mandaeans and Shebeks.

Currently, under Article 125 of the Iraqi Constitution, Iraq's Christians and other indigenous Iraqis have the legal right to practice their faith, and the right to establish a specific province in which they might live peacefully as citizens of Iraq. We ask the U.S. government to pressure the Iraqi government and Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) to remove the obstacles and fully implement Article 125 so that Iraq's Christians will not be terrorized to extinction.

Join us this Saturday, in Lafayette Park, Washington DC, from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., along with groups from across the nation to demand, with a loud and unified voice, that the Obama Administration must act NOW and pressure the government of Iraq and the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) to protect all of their citizens!

Fwd: New comment on "Reports are that airlines are not releasing travel figures for Thanksgiving. Did people vote with their feet and not fly?"

    LinkedIn Groups

Bruce, I thought I would do a quick search on air travel passenger numbers and did not find statistics more recent than August 2010.

But I did find this interesting note at
    http://www.ustravel.org/news/press-kit/travel-facts-and-statistics :

Air travel hassles: A June 2008 study by the U.S. Travel Association revealed a deep frustration among air travelers that caused them to avoid an estimated 41 million trips over the past 12 months at a cost of more than $26 billion to the U.S. economy. Air travelers expressed little optimism for positive change, with nearly 50 percent saying that the air travel system is not likely to improve in the near future. The effect of avoided trips cost airlines more than $9 billion in revenue; hotels nearly $6 billion and restaurants more than $3 billion. Federal, state and local governments lost more than $4 billion in tax revenue because of reduced spending by travelers. (Source: Air Travel Survey, 2008)

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are 1.13 fatalities per 100 Million Vehicle Miles Traveled, seeing
    http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov/Main/index.aspx

We can estimate the number of added deaths due to the foregone air travel due to the hassles back in 2007 and 2008 before the very intimate full body searches of the TSA caused by the switch to less safe driving. If the average drive were 300 miles, then the added number of deaths per year would be about 139. The new intimate searches will cause still more people to switch to driving. It would not be at all surprising if the result will turn out to be an expected increase in driving deaths of 200 to 250 a year.

We also have to add a great many business losses to this. Some people do not make trips at all that they otherwise would, which hurts the airlines, hotels, and restaurants. The businesses that send their employees on trips also lose new business opportunities. According to one study, one dollar spent on business travel generates $12.50 in additional company revenue.

I would say that Al Qaeda has been hugely successful in damaging American society, even though it has not caused any further aviation deaths since 9/11/2001. But, thanks to the collaboration of the TSA, it is causing many deaths each year, causing many business losses, making many unhappy travelers, keeping children, parents, and grandparents from visiting one another, and seriously infringing on our individual rights while we once again ignore the Supreme Law of the Land, our Constitution.
