Subject: Fundraising Event to Turbo-Charge the Libertarian Party of D.C.

Libertarian Party

Dear D.C. Libertarian,

Please see the below message sent on behalf of D.C. Delegate candidate Bruce Majors. Hope you'll attend this important event tomorrow night (Tuesday, July 3rd).

In Liberty,

Carla Howell

Executive Director

Libertarian Party

FUNDRAISING EVENT TO TURBO-CHARGE THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY AFFILIATE IN D.C.

This is the best chance we've ever had to qualify the Libertarian Party as a "major party" in D.C. (Currently, there are only three "major parties" -- the Democratic, Republican, and D.C. Statehood Green Parties.) Being a "major party" has all kinds of benefits, including not having to spend oodles of money collecting signatures every two years.

Bruce Majors is running against Eleanor Holmes Norton for Congress. Significantly, there isn't a Republican running in this race, and this is a presidential-election year (which means the voter turnout will be high). Both of these variables work in our favor.

Bruce needs only 7,500 votes on November 6, which we can get ... if we can afford to get him on the ballot (at a cost of only $12,000).

Please stop by Rob Kampia's house at 1000 Park Road NW in D.C. between 7:00 and 9:00 tomorrow, July 3, and donate $25 (or more) to this campaign; $25 pays for a sheet of signatures.  They'll have an open bar. Would love to see you then.
