Re: Just who we want to read in the op-eds

That is exactly correct Dick.

As far as our Intelligence Agencies were aware of, (as well as the British, the Saud's, the Germans, the Russians, the Israeli's, and other intelligence agencies)  the Hussien Baath Party Government was never successful in purchasing nuclear "fissionable"  material.

They nevertheless attempted to purchase it, and this was what the whole Brohaha was about revolving around Joe Wilson and his cheap slut wife.

Either Wilson lied, and/or Wilson didn't have a clue about what he was talking about, which is just as scary.  Just as important, the far left mainstream media picked up on Wilson's story, ignoring the facts, and the Bush Administration did nothing in the way of refuting Wilson and the story.

On another note, (e.g.; the "Same Church, Different Pew" category)  here is another major "News Story" that never got covered.  See Attachment.

You must have missed the story.   The story was about an ATTEMPT to buy yellowcake.   It was not about successfully BUYING the yellowcake.   In fact part of the story was the refusal of the Africans to sell the yellowcake to Saddam.

Keith,

That is just not true. The only info on that matter came from a German
"source" codenamed "curveball" (go figure) and the Germans were quick
to send GWB a message that the info was absolutely incorrect. The only
fissionable material they (Iraq) had was in a bunker sealed BEFORE
Desert Storm and unsealed and weighed to the gram after Saddam was
overthrown. (it was sold to Canada).

Source.... Senate intelligence report, Sept. 2006... Republican
controlled committee.

I think it has been proven, time and time again, that Iraq *did* go uranium
shopping in Niger.  That Joe Wilson is a typical partisan hack, who did
everything he could do to discredit the Bush Administration.

Where the Bush Administration failed, was that they didn't expose Wilson for
the hack that he was.  He should have been charged with treason.
