Christine O'Donnell, Rand Paul, Joe Miller, Ken Buck, Sharron Angle … and Ron Johnson.
The Tea Party is on a roll. Their extremist candidates won primary after primary and now they're targeting general election races. But it's one thing to have a Tea Party candidate win the general election in a deep red state like Alaska or Kentucky; it's another to win in a swing state like Wisconsin.

Ron Johnson fits right in with the Tea Party extremists. Like Sharron Angle, he wants to privatize Social Security … like Christine O'Donnell, he thinks unemployment benefits encourage people to stay unemployed … and like Rand Paul, he thinks that global warming is not man-made. (Johnson actually thinks climate change is caused by "sunspots.")
I have a strong record of independence and Ron Johnson is an extreme partisan who will put far right Republican Party and Tea Party politics ahead of the American people. Throughout my career, I have been an independent voice — standing up to my own party and also working across the aisle with Republicans to do the right thing for our country. I also have a record of doing something Ron Johnson will never do, taking on the DC lobbyists and corporate special interests who have too much power and influence in Washington. So please, take a moment right now and help my campaign reach its goal of $300,000 BEFORE September 30 – the end of the fundraising quarter. We need as much money in the bank as possible to hit the ground running for the final 30 days of my campaign.
Times are tough and Americans want someone who is going to be a voice for them in Washington, who is on their side and who is fighting for them.
