Re: GOP Honors Ron Paul;

No one's credentials were stripped, and yes,  when it comes to an overwhelming majority at Convention time, it's time to "Circle The Wagons"!   The Paul delegates came for a fight, and a fight that they were not in any position to win.  If it were close.....If the nomination was still in the balance......If Dr. Paul had any inkling of a chance of winning the nominiation, that would have been a horse of a different color.  This was not even remotely close to reality.  The nomination was Mitt Romney's,  and it had been decided long before arriving in Tampa.

What was the point of the Paul delegates coming to show their ass?  To "Educate"?   I think everyone knows Dr. Paul's position on the issues.  Dr. Paul has done a good bit to sway the Republican platform, and I salute him for that, as do most all Republicans!   There was even a tribute to Dr. Paul at the RNC.

This was NOT

The only reason?

So you are saying delegates whose candidate does not have an overwhelming majority should always just stay home.  Or be stripped of credentials?

That no convention should ever be contested

The Paul people were there for the same reason they are always anywhere, to recruit and educate.  The GOP may have helped them again, especially with the under 30s
