I knew that was coming...
Nixon signed it into law, but both the House and Senate was held by
Democrats.

Neo-cons never give any credit to Clinton under a Republican held
Congress, so why should I give credit to Nixon?

All I can say is they get it right occasionally.

Not a particularly strong argument.

And what that is just another example of what happens when Republicans
and Democrats work together... much like the McCain-Fiengold campaign
reform or Glass-Steagall Act.
When they work together, they get to really screw things up royally.

Sarbanes-Oxley was enacted in 2002 while a Republican held Presidency,
House and Senate voted in favor of it and a Republican President
signed it into law.

If you expect anyone to believe Republicans will be the ones to stop
outsourcing, I believe you'd buy the Brooklyn Bridge too.

Not working out any better for you as far as I can tell.
