Why should my vote, as a taxpayer, be
of the same value as someone who is totally dependent upon federal or
state
subsistence?

Well ya didn't say that. Thats more interesting, but still a rather
major problem.

People who live in apartments and students (at least the males of whom
are REQUIRED to register for selective service) are not, "totally
dependent upon federal or state subsistence"
