I'm not trying to be a stickler.... many Islamic States are far from
being Democratic Republics, that foes without saying, It is doubtful
that the Islamic States even aspire to Democratic Republic standing.
Nevertheless, it is clear that Israel does claim to be a Democratic
Republic and holds itself apart from it's regional neighbors because
of it.....a bit of a setback, at the least, if that's truly the case.
