Will Washington's Failures Lead To Second American Revolution?

Will Washington's Failures Lead To Second American Revolution?

I spent a good portion of Saturday night drinking with one of Tampa's finest. We talked about the possibility of a mini revolution. We both agreed that if there is even a hint of a cheating scandal in the mid terms that blood would likely flow. There are just too many special interests and emotions are high. America will stand or fall this year. An America without personal freedoms would not be worthy of the name.

Almost a fifth of Florida residents can legally carry now; ammunition is still high but more plentiful than it has been. People are stocking up, are you?

My friend shocked me when he told me that every Tampa officer he knew had discussed walking off the job if a "national emergency" was declared around the time of the mid term elections and strict gun control measures were put into place. Even the police do not trust congress. I just hope the police officers closet to congress also discussed walking off the job. No member of congress should be any better protected in a "national emergency" than you and your families are.

By the end of the night, we had planned how to wreak Tampa. It is a lot easier when you have an insider telling you were the weak points are. As fun as that discussion was, we both knew that retired military or sitting police officers would not start any revolution. We would however fight if it comes to that, not to topple governments or defend a failed state. No, if this happens it will be to protect and defend our own neighborhoods, well minus the obama supporters. My friend reminded me that almost all the bumper stickers had been removed but I still have my list.

Read this article and you will see that my friend and I are not the only people thinking that violence is almost a given.

The Internet is a large-scale version of the "Committees of Correspondence" that led to the first American Revolution — and with Washington's failings now so obvious and awful, it may lead to another.

People are asking, "Is the government doing us more harm than good? Should we change what it does and the way it does it?"

Pruning the power of government begins with the imperial presidency.

Too many overreaching laws give the president too much discretion to make too many open-ended rules controlling too many aspects of our lives. There's no end to the harm an out-of-control president can do.

Bill Clinton lowered the culture, moral tone and strength of the nation — and left America vulnerable to attack. When it came, George W. Bush stood up for America, albeit sometimes clumsily.

Barack Obama, however, has pulled off the ultimate switcheroo: He's diminishing America from within — so far, successfully.

He may soon bankrupt us and replace our big merit-based capitalist economy with a small government-directed one of his own design.

He is undermining our constitutional traditions: The rule of law and our Anglo-Saxon concepts of private property hang in the balance. Obama may be the most "consequential" president ever.
-I am more survivalist than I am an anarchist and I could be wrong about armed revolutionists encountering radical special agenda groups but just in case I am not wrong, prepare. Read more of this post
