When a bunch of hoodlums, delinquents, smugglers, illegals, criminals, etc. were attacking the Agent, across the border, by throwing rocks, the Agent defended his life. After he is conked on the head and lying there unconscious, it's too late.
The habitual criminal, with several previous arrests on his record, was aiming at maiming! Aiming to do as much damage as he possibly could... using rocks that could kill. The kid gambled on his future life of crime. The Juan Capone wannabe lost.
