From Politico: President Obama said in a chat on the website Reddit that the White House beer recipe will be out shortly. "It will be out soon! I can tell from first hand experience, it is tasty," Obama said in response to a question from a Redditor. Transparency advocates and home brewing enthusiasts have been, well, frothing over the chance to see the recipe to the White House's own honey ale. The White House initially declined to release the recipe, then reversed course saying that if a petition on the administration's We The People site garnered 25,000 signatures, they would release the recipe. That petition still needs 14,000 more signatures. Wonder if Obama will release those Fast & Furious documents he sealed with his executive privilege if we get 25,000? | | | |
