New post on Fellowship of the Minds |  | The dictionary defines "malice" as "the desire to cause pain, injury, or distress to another." There is no noun in the English language for a malicious person, so I propose that we use the Latin root word for malice: malitia. Actress Roseanne Barr is a malitia. 
Barr is the latest leftwinger to pile on Chick-fil-A, the restaurant chain whose owner has spoken out in support of traditional heterosexual marriage. Yes, it's that same charming Roseanne Barr, with a net worth of $80 million, who expressed her solidarity with the Occupy movement by declaring that anyone with more than $100 million in wealth should be summarily beheaded. In a recent interview with The Baptist Press, Dan Cathy, the chief of Chick-fil-A -- which was begun by his father Truett, and now is a $4 billion-plus a year business -- said, "We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that." As documented by Tim Graham of NewsBusters, July 25, 2012, first Barr told Chick-fil-A to suck an appendage she doesn't have: "Suck my dick chick filet- nazi chicken f---ing pricks!" Then she went on ABC's The View [of Carping Ugly Crones] and wishes cancer on Chick-fil-A fans: "Anyone who eats S--t Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens 4Christ". Shortly after her get-cancer tweet, the hate-filled Barr doubled down: "off to grab a s--it fil-A sandwich on my way to worshipping Christ, supporting Aipac and war in Iran." Then Roseanne tried to defend herself on green grounds: "Giving ur kds Cancer from processed fast food is child abuse" Next she went on the offensive by accusing Christians of making things up: "christian liars: i never wished cancer on you at all-jesus will punish u 4 ur deceit-I said processed foods cause cancer" And, most recently: "even though most MM followers r illiterate-let me try again-what I said was: If U eat poison chicken anuses, u increase ur chances of cancer" Tell Roseanne Barr the Malitia what you think of her by going to a Chick-fil-A today!
