**JP** Re: Zardari donates $1 million to Ajmer Dargah

Sensitivities apart. personally I feel that the One mil dollar donation would have been much more useful (and rewarding in the eyes of Allah swt) had it been made to some organisation looking after the poor, some charitable hospital in dire need of some medical equipment or medicines, some educational set up for the children of the poor (certainly not the Laptop type), some orphanage, some widows, some poor parents of marriageable age girls etc. than the multi millionaire Dargah Shareef which has no dearth of money in the world.

Sir,

You have a point.  It's Pakistan's money in any case.

What personal wealth? If the accusations of corruption are even half true, half the money belonged to the people of Pakistan

It would be spent on the "Halwa Mandays", as the saying goes,  and of course will find its way to the pockets of the Gaddi Nashins, how else?

My only concern :  Hope it was out of the AAZ's personal wealth  and not paid out of the poor Pakistani tax payers' money.
