Easter and Passover Greetings From New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

Easter and Passover Greetings From New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

Dear Fellow New Yorker,

This weekend, New Yorkers throughout our state will join friends and
family members for one of the holiest times of the year.

Today, Good Friday marks a time of solemn reflection for New Yorkers
of Christian faith before the celebration of Easter Sunday. Let us
impart this spirit of renewal into making our state a greater state
for all New Yorkers.

Tonight, New Yorkers of Jewish faith celebrate the first Seder of
Passover, commemorating the triumph of freedom over slavery and
oppression. This message of hope and endurance has lasted through the
ages and lives today in the spirit of the people of the Empire State.

As we come together to feast during Holy Week and Passover, I offer my
warmest wishes and sincere blessings to New Yorkers at this most
special time.

Sincerely,

Andrew M. Cuomo
