Job Skills

ü       Masters Degree in Social Science, preferably in development studies, or other relevant disciplines.

ü       03 years of relevant managerial experience in the development sector

ü       Excellent team management, leadership and interpersonal communication skill;

ü       Exposure/ability to work in a diversified multicultural set-up.

Job Responsibilities

ü       Monitor and supervise OTP/SFP teams and ensure that protocols are correctly followed in the management of acute malnutrition and health/IYCF promotion

ü       Conduct on-the-job training OTP/SFP teams as required and identify training needs for more in-depth training

ü       Visit the BHUs when nutrition programmes are not operational and ensure that BHU staff provide nutrition care as per protocols; document issues related to effective implementation of protocols and communicate them with the Nutrition Advisor and Nutrition Expert for improved programming

ü       Monitor the community outreach/mobilization by community outreach workers, field monitors and LHWs in the community and ensure that

ü       Target beneficiaries are reached/ Absentees are followed up/Health/IYCF promotion is done properly in the community

ü       Identify issues related to community outreach and suggest recommendations to address them

ü       Conduct focus group discussions with mothers and caregivers in the community and identify community perspectives on the CMAM programme

ü       Monitor and make sure that referrals between programmes are effectively carried out and make sure that children referred to Stabilisation Centres (SC) reach the SCs and receives care according to protocols

ü       children who completes treatment at the SC are enrolled in an OTP and complete the treatment

ü       Referrals between OTP and SFP are effective

ü       Monitor and make sure that programme supplies are utilized according to protocols and for their intended use

ü       Support the logistics officer with planning and distribution of programme supplies

ü       Together with the monitoring officer, collect, and analyze, and interpret programme data for improved programming

ü       Support the finance officer to monitor and ensure that funds are spent according to agreed budget

ü       Lead nutrition survey data collection in the community and help enter and analyze data when nutrition survey is conducted

ü       Provide direct implementation support to partner organization when there is problems with human recourses

ü       Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Programme Participants Protection Policy and Humanitarian Accountability Partnership to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries.
