RP is a current Member of the U.S. House of Representatives and serves
on the House Committees on Foreign Affairs and Financial Services, and
on the Joint Economic Committee, as well as chairman of the Financial
Services Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology.

Newt has been out of the government for over 12 years living in
disgrace.
