What is hypocritical, is the Ron Paul ads running in Iowa. How shameful, and so designed to split the conservative vote. My respect for Paul wanes each and every day.
There's nothing hypocritical here. Gingrich has said that he intends on running a positive campaign, and to date, he has done so.
The "Inside the Beltway/Blue Blood" sect of the Republican Party hates Gingrich and have done everything that they can do to besmirch his conservative record. It's laughable, and thankfully, at least today, Gingrich has a teflon coating.
