1,200 'Occupy Wall St.' Products For Sale On eBay - To Help You Fight Capitalism

Via CNS News:  In the battle of Capitalism vs. Socialism, score one for making a profit.  The Occupy Wall Street (and everything else) protest has loudly proclaimed its goal of taking down Wall Street. As they explained their anti-corporate creed in the "Declaration of Occupation":

"We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments."

But capitalism and free markets have a way of winning on their own. And Occupy Wall Street is no exception.  As of Tuesday, there were 1,200 "Occupy Wall Street" products available on eBay – for purchase.

That's right. The anti-capitalist running dogs are selling everything from T-shirts to dollar-bill art and even hoodies. You can't protest 24-7 without the best all-weather gear.

Some highlights include:

  • Hygiene kit - $12.00:  Description (in their own words): blanket, pillow, ttothbrus/paste, comb, sanitizer bottle, pack of fresh wipes, shampoo/conditionar, 2-bottles water, large "occupy wall street" stickers (um, sure looks different than what's in the picture).
  • OCCUPY WALL STREET Ready set GO KIT! $80.00: BIG BLACK Sharpie, Little COLORED Sharpies, 1 Folgers Coffee Can full small size - this will make you friends! 1 Travel Mug with lid – plastic, Bunch of sugar packets, 1 Spoon – metal, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 hand towel, Small pack of baby wipes unscented, Hand Sanitizer, 1 Bar of Soap, Comb, Deodorant, Toothbrush and travel tooth paste, Q Tips, Pocket knife , 4 stamps , 2 envelopes, 1 subject notebook , Pack of BIC Pens.
  • Occupy Wall Street protestor buttons - $20.00:  Occupy Wall Street. The protest in Zacconi Park. I have 2 original buttons declaring the agenda, the manifesto. only 2. new.
  • ANARCHIST GIFT SET- punk anarchy monkeywrenching occupy wall street riot protest - $9.99.

Since Occupy Wall Street is costing millions in police overtime and hurting nearby businesses, it's nice to know it is adding something to the economy.  Do these count as saved or created jobs under Obama?

Well good for these people trying to make a buck.  Heaven forbid a corporation try to do the same.
