Re: The lie that began the endless war on Iraq

We agree that our role in the world should not be, "Nation Building".  It was a mistake,  (and as a side note, I was opposed to the Bush Doctrine of "Nation-Building"  at the time)  however, to act as if in 2001-2004 that we, collectively as a Nation, including what we now know to be our intelligence gathering, both secured/classifed and what was released to the general public;  is revisionist.   Saddam was a threat to this Nation as well as to the whole Middle East/Southwest Asian region.
 
Dr. Paul is so far off base with his revisionist anti-war rhetoric.  Paul is an isolationist.  This has nothing to do with "Nation Building";  it has to do with protecting our interests.   We have viable, valid interests in the region,  and it is our inherent right to protect those interests.  Whether you like those interests.....Or Not.
