On Saturday around 6 PM or later arrange outfits of unwanted clothing
on sidewalks around town and near churches, then stand nearby and tell

Judgment Day Followers Await Rapture
Thousands of people around the country are preparing for Saturday,
also known as Judgment Day, when believers expect they will be
absorbed into heaven in a process known as Rapture.

Abby Haddad Carson, left, and Robert Carson, center, who live in
Middletown, Md., believe that the earth will begin to self-destruct on
Saturday. Ms. Haddad Carson and Mr. Carson with their children,
Joseph, Faith and Grace outside their home.
Ms. Haddad Carson and Mr. Carson tasted their dinner as Grace and
Faith did homework. Ms. Haddad Carson resigned from her job as a
nurse in order to "sound the trumpet" and go on mission trips with her
husband, handing out tracts. They stopped working on their house and
saving for college.
"My mom has told me directly that I'm not going to get into heaven,"
said Grace Haddad. "At first it was really upsetting, but it's what
she honestly believes."
Rachael Pisano tried to convince people in New York City that the
world will end. According to followers, believers are to be
transported to heaven while non-believers will endure five months of
plagues, earthquakes, wars, famine and general torment before the
planet's total destruction. Mr. Camping suggested that a similar
scenario might occur in 1994.
