Democrats won’t be laughing for long.

Last week at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington,
'humorist' Seth Meyers delivered a stream of put-downs of those
unfortunate enough to be a subject of the liberal media. The people
doing the most laughing were the most liberal ones in the large group—
that included self-appointed… 'celebrities' who were somehow 'lucky
enough' to get a ticket.

The person doing the least laughing at that bash was a possible
candidate for President, Donald Trump. I immediately wondered why
Trump would go to such a "roast", when it was so obvious that Barack
Obama would likely orchestrate the event so as to make issues like his
bogus birth certificate seem to be light, enjoyable humor in the look-
the-other-way-to-crime culture of the corrupt Washington
establishment.

If Donald Trump didn't already know that our two-party political
system is off-its-kilter, he should surely realize, now, the
inexcusable leverage the media has in determining who our elected
officials can be. I've characterized this country's problems as being
the approximate equal responsibility of: the media, government, and
our screwed-up public education system from start to finish. Of those
three, correcting our media will be the most difficult. It will
likely involve closing down 90% of all media outlets once they violate
even one on the provisions in my New Constitution:

"Representatives shall not intentionally communicate with any news
medium whose coverage area is predominately outside of their home
district. Nor shall they, or any government official, cultivate a
media personae, or make petty public speeches, introductions or
comments lauding any person, living or dead, nor any civil or private
projects or those responsible. Comments to media by representatives
or government employees shall be germane to pending legislation, or to
the exercise of their jobs. The media shall not solicit public
officials' opinions over those of the People."

"Other than the President or his agents, no person, news medium,
organization, group, their envoys, or any lobby, within government or
without, shall be allowed to contact representatives while such are in
Washington."

"Representatives shall not be polled concerning issues up for a vote,
nor shall Citizens be polled prior to any election on their support
for any candidate, amendment, or referendum item. It shall be a
felony to take, or to disseminate, the results of any such poll."

"No release of projected election or referenda results shall be made
until all polls have been closed one hour."

"It shall be a felony for any government official, celebrity or media
idol—past or present—to publicly endorse or campaign on behalf of any
candidate for public office or job."

"English, that is grammatically written and correctly spoken, is the
official language of the USA and shall be the model for every medium
and every public discourse."

"No law nor private or civil action shall abridge: the freedom of
speech; the freedom of a fair and pro-democracy press or other medium;
the right of People to peaceably assemble; and the right of any
Citizen or group to petition government or any of its branches or
departments for redress of grievances."

"Freedom of the press or other medium mandates that there be
reasonable truthfulness in reporting. Wanton distortion of the truth,
or deliberate omission of the truth—except in cases of obvious fiction
or satire—is prohibited. Stating or implying that a particular news
medium has a collective voice (we) or position on any issue is
prohibited, as for example via: anonymous editorials; regularly
occurring accompanying comments; commentary programs financed by, or
ideologically screened by, the same news medium; editorials named as
being authored by management; editorial comments by others that are in
any way ideologically censored, omitted or screened; or by comments
occurring at specific times or designated locations that most would
come to associate with the management of such medium, even if such are
innocuous. No medium shall be a forum for promoting the ideology of
its management or owners, nor shall they employ anyone who uses such
job to hawk their personal political preferences—at risk of loss of
license or closure of the business. Flagrantly editing news to
promote the ideology of management is a felony. No medium shall
analyze, assess, summarize, or make subjective judgments about any
pending election or referendum. Nor shall they invite others outside
of the media to do so. But factual, thorough coverage of the
candidates or referenda issues—on an as occurs basis—is allowed,
provided there are no comments, nor actions, as above, and provided
the same unbiased coverage is given to all of the candidates or to all
of the referenda issues. It shall be a 10 year felony to repress
truthful news reporting in any medium by threatening legal action. No
medium can be sued for libel for presenting material authored by
others, but if a person is harmed by the medium's content, they shall
be allowed to reply—without editing—in that medium. Each medium shall
respond to breaking news without considering the response of any other
medium. Injuries due to improper news coverage or non coverage shall
not be excused by the media response. A medium reporting on
government shall do so thoroughly, objectively, and with detachment—
being neither laudatory nor critical by form, and not repressing
thoughtful dissent nor its coverage. Every medium shall favor the
truth over supposition, without parity nor bias. False or deceptive
commercial advertising is prohibited. Deliberate use by any
candidate, their staffs or election committees, of false or deceptive
campaign speeches, slogans, advertisements, humor, or innuendo is a
felony. No organization, nor part of the media, nor any special
interest group(s) shall in any way endorse a slate of candidates for
public office; flagrant violation is a felony. No medium shall
display active public records without the free consent of the apt
parties."

Any "serious" candidate for President should be smart enough to
realize that the elitist media has no constitutional right to have an
influence on the outcome of an election that is greater than the per
capita votes of those employed in the media. In short, ALL political
commentary regarding pending elections or referenda shall be stopped!
Never more shall any candidate, or possible candidate, for public
office be the subject of inconsiderate humor or innuendo. And when a
cad like Britt Hume expresses his personal opinion that… 'Donald Trump
has no chance of becoming President', Hume would be immediately fired,
or Fox News would be permanently closed down for not being in the best
interest of the people.

When Donald Trump looks with disfavor on what is going on in our…
fucking government, there might be a GLIMMER of hope that the "Empty
Ritual" in politics, and elsewhere in the world, will finally be
experiencing the "Wring-the-neck" that has been so long overdue.

Respectfully submitted,
