Since TommyTomForNews has accused me of being a Liar"; a "Hater" and a "Smearer" (whatever the Hell a "smearer" means); I thought maybe it was time to shed a little light on our Homosexual community.
First, in the article that Tom posted, captioned, "The Ten Lies about the GLBT Community Told by Conservative Hate Groups: a Straight Christian Perspective"; and no doubt funded and/or written by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which suggested that it was all of Western Society's fault that homosexuals are stigmatized. That in particular, conservatives are the ones that, "hated" and caused the misrepresentations about homosexuality....That Homosexuality was a wonderful thing, that it was in fact the rest of us who are so misguided; I suggested two things, First, that the Southern Poverty Law Center is a Hate Group, and Two: that the article was no doubt prevaricate (that means a lie TommyTomTom!) and not truthful. (That means I am being redundant Tommy!)
So, I will now prove my point:
Research into the issue of the origins of homosexuality suggests that adoptive brothers are more likely to both be homosexuals than the biological brothers, who share half their genes which suggests that homosexuality is not genetically caused. This data prompted the journal Science to report; "this . . . suggests that there is no genetic component, but rather an environmental component shared in families".

However, in regards to psychosocial and biological theories in regards to the origin of homosexuality, Columbia University psychiatry professors Drs. William Byrne and Bruce Parsons stated in 1994: "There is no evidence that at present to substantiate a biological theory. [T]he appeal of current biological explanations for sexual orientation may derive more from dissatisfaction with the present status of psychosocial explanations than from a substantiating body of experimental data".
Homosexual men have higher rates of suicide and depression than heterosexuals:
Homosexuals are statistically more deviant than their heterosexual counterparts; e.g.; statistics prove that homosexuals are more apt to commit axe murders than heterosexuals, (and I am paraphrasing) :
Here's one for ya Lil'MoonbatTommy, homosexuals are less prone to school harassment than their heterosexual counterparts:
Lesbians are more prone to substance abuse than their heterosexual counterparts:
I could go on and on, shooting bullets in Tommy's little propagandist missive, but I think everyone gets my point. Tom talks out of his ass, and has never, ever substantiated any of his crackpot Anti-American, Pro-Homsexual theories.
Finally, I am not Anti-Gay. I make no judgments on what an individual does sexually, and behind closed doors. I am also a strong advocate for ANY individual who has been discrimiated against, because of his race, religious beliefs, or his sexual orientation. By the same token, I am just as outspoken with regard to individuals and entities who advocate for more rights and privileges than the rest of Americans enjoy, based solely on their religious beliefs, their sexuality, or the color of their skin. It is time that all Americans stand up and say, "ENOUGH" to the likes of Tommy, and all individuals who would harm our Nation, and our civil liberties!

In 1999, Dr. Jeffrey Satinover, M.D. wrote the following regarding the position of sexual abuse being a contributing factor for homosexuality:

In 2001, the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior published a study entitled Comparative data of childhood and adolescence molestation in heterosexual and homosexual persons. The abstract for this article states the following:
| " | In research with 942 nonclinical adult participants, gay men and lesbian women reported a significantly higher rate of childhood molestation than did heterosexual men and women. Forty-six percent of the homosexual men in contrast to 7% of the heterosexual men reported homosexual molestation. Twenty-two percent of lesbian women in contrast to 1% of heterosexual women reported homosexual molestation. This research is apparently the first survey that has reported substantial homosexual molestation of girls.[2] | " |
The authors of the above medical journal article entitled Comparative data of childhood and adolescence molestation in heterosexual and homosexual persons also stated that childhood sexual molestation may not be a causal factor for homosexuality and that the abuse molestation may be occurring after the individual is a homosexual and the medical researchers speculated that the victims of molestation may be engaging in behaviors that put them at greater risk for molestation.[2]
In 1998, Dr. William C. Holmes, M.D. and Dr. Gail B. Slap, M.D. reported in the medical journal JAMA the following:
