A Story first,

| You turn on the computer for any kind of work like chatting.. browsing.. for you assignment..or to check the emails but its taking so much time even the desktop is appearing after like after half an hour. After that when u clicked on the internet explorer, its taking its own time to even open the page or if you double click my computer, you cannot see the drives because it's taking long time and if you try to open any document or picture the computer is just reading and reading. Means you computer is damn slow… and you can't do nething. | |

Winxp still is so much popular now a days like the time when it was released. Since after that Win vista and Win 7 has also been released. But people prefer to use winxp only because so many softwares supports winxp and run smoothly on it and people are pretty much familiar with the interface as well |
| Never the less we are not going to discuss this thing right now, infact we will talk about what we should do to make our computer runs fast without reformatting it. And I guarantee this thing that you don't have to format it once you read all of my mails related to this subject. I am telling you all this because I have an experience of 9 years and 7 years of practical experience in the field and only such a person can be so sure about this work |
| Slow Computer or Slow Internet???
If you ask some1 that why your internet is so slow, then he will start a story of his own that the problem is of computer not the internet. The computer is dead… so old and bla bla… but actually it's not the computer problem infact it can be a slow internet connection from ISP or from the cable net operator. Can be anything. And major reasons will be because of so many viruses or junk files in the computer which is making it slow. Not the Hardware problem. |
| Formatting the computer is Not a Solution
Computers are always fine but they becomes slow because we don't do its maintenance which makes it slow and viruses and other things comes in after some time.
I will mention all the points in sequence which you should follow in order to make your computer run fast.. and I mean really fast….. |

1. Min. Hardware Requirements 2. Remove Unwanted Softwares 3. Disable File Indexing: 4. Remove Unused Fonts 5. Clean Up Temporary and Cache Files 6. Turn Off Windows Animations and Visual Effects 7. Improve Memory Usage 8. Disable Un-needed Services From Starting 9. Improve Start-up Time 10. Speedup Folder Browsing 11. Windows Update 12. Get a Virus, Spyware and Malware Clean System 13. Cleanup Windows Registry 14. Check Your Hard Disk 15. Disable System Restore 16. Run Defrag
