If you want to know why here is a law prof who voted for Obama who
discusses your new hero and his gobbledegook on the DADT issue.

As has been told to you before, if you want this repealed, then put it
up by itself. Most Republicans are not in favor of DADT but they will
not vote for a bad bill that has repeal of DADT tacked on just to get
the repeal and validly so; they shouldn't. Who you should blame in
this mess is Harry Reid and his staff and the President; they are the
ones who tacked this onto the Defense bill along with all sorts of other
things which combined lost a lot of votes and then they tried schedule
it so it would be handled before the election for political reasons.
The bill submitted was not ready for prime time so it got defeated. How
does it feel to be a political pawn, Tommy, because that is all you are
to the Dems.
