A beautiful Russian and a beautiful American girl TIED for the Bronze
Metal, yesterday. Following a long and nerve-wracking deliberation,
the Russian was given the Bronze Metal. It was explained that the
judges had decided to ELIMINATE the balance beam results for both
girls. After doing so, the Russian had a higher score on the
remaining three events: vault, uneven bars and floor exercise.
Here is why that was an UNFAIR and thus WRONG result(!): Since the
Russian had done more poorly than the American on balance beam, the
Russian was FAVORED by ELIMINATING a score that was worse! Favoring
the Russian and giving that Russian the Bronze isn't morally nor
legally correct! The only FAIR resolution is to give out TWO Bronze
metals, since both girls tied in the results.
As, perhaps, the most intelligent person on Earth (based on problem-
solving ability, not rote learning of often errant 'facts') I have
devoted much of the last 16 years of my life penning and polishing my
'New Constitution of the United States of America'. The impetus has
been to make our governments, businesses and social climate be as FAIR
and nondiscriminatory as humanly possible. Doing such requires
stripping all groups of influence while equalizing, as closely as
possible, the power of individuals to have equal opportunities for
happiness and prosperity. Moral issues, in too many instances, are
being decided by groups, such as our Supreme Court, who have little,
intellectually and morally, to recommend most of them. It is my hope
that it isn't too late to have the beautiful American girl get the
Bronze metal that she, too, deserves to have!!!!!
