Re: Some Advice for those Who Won’t Support the GO P

ROTFLMAO!
We see first hand THIS YEAR how attempting to 'work within the party' is inane. Had the establishment treated all parties 'neutrally' Paul would have ridden his Iowa victory through to Tampa.

I am not confused.

Here is an example:
http://www.mittromney.com/issues/trade
"This means that agreements must create a level playing field for competition."
So two or more people cannot reach an agreement by themselves ... the GOVERNMENT must 'plan' and 'manage' trade in order to provide advantage to some at the expense of everyone else.

Need ANOTHER?:
http://www.mittromney.com/issues/energy
"The first step will be a rational and streamlined approach to regulation, which would facilitate rapid progress in the development of our domestic reserves of oil and natural gas and allow for further investment in nuclear power."
 MORE planning and managing.
As an economic system, fascism is socialism with a capitalist veneer.
<snip>
Where socialism sought totalitarian control of a society's economic processes through direct state operation of the means of production, fascism sought that control indirectly, through domination of nominally private owners. Where socialism nationalized property explicitly, fascism did so implicitly, by requiring owners to use their property in the "national interest" -- that is, as the autocratic authority conceived it. (Nevertheless, a few industries were operated by the state.) Where socialism abolished all market relations outright, fascism left the appearance of market relations while planning all economic activities. Where socialism abolished money and prices, fascism controlled the monetary system and set all prices and wages politically. In doing all this, fascism denatured the marketplace. http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/Fascism.html
When Government 'plans' and 'manages' people no longer control THEIR property -- it is instead subject to Government whims.

We need a President/Congress/Government that is going to GUT spending, GUT taxes and ELIMINATE regulation. Romney, like Obama, is going to simply 'fine tune' these in an effort to REWARD his favored.

You, apparently, continue to measure one party by what they say rather than what they do. It is the ACTION that is of greatest concern.
Obama has expanded/continued upon Bush policies/programs ... and Romney promises to do the same -- complete with many/most of the Bush advisors in tow.

Again, why would someone endorse a candidate that stands AGAINST your principles?

"The last thing Mitt Romney and his supporters want is for people to figure out the scam. If people figure out that Romney and Obama are mirror images of each other -- that they share the same overall philosophy -- then the gig is up. They'll see that it really doesn't matter whether it's Obama or Romney who is elected. The country will continue in the same direction -- toward statism, along with its inevitable consequences -- recessions, depressions, impoverishment, war, conflict, violence, terrorism, militarism, corruption, and ever-increasing taxes, debt, inflation, and loss of liberty." -- Jacob Hornberger

That's asinine and ridiculous.  There are very few if any issues or positions that Obama and Romney share.  This is far left extremist hate and spew.

You are also confused with your definitions, specifically with what "Fascism"  means,  but we have discussed this previously, and apparently for naught.

The big difference between us, is that I remain a Republican.   I am still in the fight.   I don't like the rules changes, and I will do everything within my power to rid our party of the Blue-Blood Rockefellerian elitist RINO's that have (through money this year)  hijacked our party.  Neverhtheless,  the alternative is far worse, and I am saddend that Dr. Paul has not endorsed the Party candidate, like his son Rand did.  The only way to effect change, is to work within the party.
