A novel idea... Something to think about.
It's never been done before... so why not now?

It's going to be an ugly campaign. We all know it, and I guess we're ready for it.
What a shame--the ugliest and dirtiest campaign that money can buy...has already started.
Why not shake things up a bit. Let's take the early lead and see if this proposal doesn't get the country focusing on what's really important... who could really turn things around...
instead of just pitting one candidate against the other, and the rest of his staff a guessing game?
The GOP candidate could send a clear message to the people of the United States that conservatives aren't going to do business as usual any more. What, shake up the whole country?
It's about time conservatives, liberals and independents were pulled together and got excited about something, and there's no better time than now.
And it would shake the Obama campaign to its core.
As soon as the 1,144 delegates are in hand, let's put the following innovative plan in motion:
Rather than a leisurely march toward a VP nominee, or a surprise VP announcement (like in 2008), vet the VP candidates NOW and stand ready to announce the running mate in a nationally televised Press Conference one day after the delegates are in hand.
Make the VP choice Allen West.
Having Congressman West in the VP slot makes him a TRIPLE THREAT and a VP who WILL redefine the role. Triple threat? You bet. As Vice President, of course he would attend to the regular duties and be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. But as Vice President, he would also act as a 2nd Secretary of State in difficult diplomatic negotiations. AND… a Vice President West would work in concert with the Secretary of Defense to realign our Military and redefine its role. Knowing well our threats from without and within, there is no better choice. You heard
right: Triple Threat!
Oh, but this is only the START of the strategy!
As soon as the Presidential nominee has introduced West as his running mate…THE G.O.P.
nominee would then introduce his SECRETARY OF STATE NOMINEE: John Bolton . Former Ambassador to the United Nations, there is no one with a better handle on the World's issues, nobody more familiar with the players. John Bolton is a tough, straightforward, no- nonsense guy and is certainly not going to appease ANYONE.
Now, you have the Presidential nominee on stage, the VP choice and the Secretary of State nominee…but let's not stop there. Next to walk onto the stage…
Sarah Palin …Nominee for Secretary of Energy
Palin's mandate: Get us on the path toward energy independence in 10 years. Is there anyone more vested in that goal? Anyone who is more adept? Can you think of anyone more driven?
I can't.
Can you feel the ground starting to shake?
Next out of the wings and onto the stage… the nominee for Secretary of Defense
Enter… General David Petraeus
As great as he was fighting a PC war, just imagine what he'll be like once he and VP West press the reset button on our Rules of Engagement. In Petraeus, we will have a Secretary of Defense whose mission will be to win . What a refreshing idea !
Oh… we're not done yet.
Next up… Nominee for Attorney General … Pam Bondi Bondi, Attorney General of Florida, is a dedicated fighter who has taken on the current administration over Obamacare, and she would clean out the corruption rampant in the Justice Department today.
Okay, where are we? Who is now standing on the stage? The Presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, VP candidate Allen West…John Bolton…Sarah Palin…General Petraeus and Pam Bondi.
How about a Secretary of the Treasury ? We would need someone who has worked for YEARS in the tax field, who understands the overwhelming burden of tax codes and who has, for years, fought to restructure those codes.
Welcome Michele Bachmann to the platform… nominee for Secretary of the Treasury .
By now, fissures should be opening in the ground, rumbling coming from the sky... with the faint aroma of brimstone and sulfer in the air.
Now, we will need someone new-- with new ideas-- to head up the Federal Reserve . Please welcome Ron Paul . Yes, I realize that under Dr. Paul this will be a temporary position; but somehow I doubt Ron Paul wants to make a career of running the Fed.
Secretary of the Interior? A man who absolutely loves his country and wants the best for it... no hidden agendas. It's Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana… COME ON DOWN!
And finally…We need someone to head up the Department of Homeland Security . We must have
a person who has worked a long time in law enforcement, knows well today's issues, and who won't
take any crap from anybody. Let's hear a round of applause for Sheriff Joe Arpaio , Maricopa County,
Arizona .
Now hear this:
No czars... and no socialists, Marxists or Alinski-worshipping progressives allowed in the above
proposed Administration.
No Lefties working to undermine the greatest county in the World. Only honorable Americans
determined to save our country and our values before it's too late.
Yes to the Ten Commandments in courthouses and other public buildings, Yes to the word 'God'
on our currency, Yes to the right to bear arms, Yes to generic prayers at graduations, high school
football games and other appropriate gatherings.
Hush, loud dissidents who want to dismantle the country.
Begone to an era where the tail tried to wag the dog.
Feel free to substitute names…add your own choices, but these are mine. Too right of center? Had
things not zoomed so far to the Left, such strong course correction may not have been necessary.
The makeup of this slate says it all: we have got to get back on course.
Instead of simply a Presidential nominee against incumbent Obama, it's also:
Congressman Allen West vs Joe Biden…
John Bolton vs Hillary Clinton…
Sarah Palin vs Stephen Chu…
General Petraeus vs Leon Panetta…
Pam Bondi vs Eric Holder…
Michele Bachmann vs Tim Geithner…
Ron Paul vs Ben Bernanke…
Bobby Jindal vs Ken Salazar... and
Sheriff Joe Arpaio vs Janet Napolitano.
Think about that… let it sink in. All of them campaigning at once! What you see is what you'll get.
There would be no way out for Obama as each and every key player on his team would be exposed
and held accountable for their deeds or misdeeds of the past 3 1/2 years. It would be a full-on frontal
assault and Obama would have no place to hide.
It's bold, brash and completely against the Establishment's usual hum-drum formula.
It's earthshaking! Each person a pit bull after a T-Bone… hammering liberal voters on every
issue, every day, from now on until Tuesday, November 6th.
Now, tell me this strategy wouldn't go a LONG way toward bringing the conservative voters together.
And I have an idea this lineup might appeal to most Independents as well, and even a few Democrats.
Why not know about and vote for the whole team rather than just the standard two-person Presidential
ticket? These are unusual times... calling for breakthrough but sensible remedies.
