The Clintons Begin Laying the Groundwork for 2016
By Robert Ringer

From the first day of Hillary's downfall, I never had a doubt that the
HillBillies would seek revenge on "the amateur" who outslicked them in the
2008 Democratic primary. Axelthugs Incorporated, knowing they would have a
problem on their hands, took Michael Corleone's godfatherly advice — "Keep
your friends close, but your enemies closer." — and got BHO to name Hillary
Secretary of State.

Now the big question inside the Beltway is whether or not Bubba Bill is
accidentally telling the truth or knowingly using his intellect, charm, and
desire for revenge to undermine Obama and cost him the election this
November. If one believes Edward Klein's description (in his book The
Amateur) of Clinton calling a meeting of his closest allies to urge Hillary
to run against Obama in 2012 (and I do), then clearly his actions are
intentional.

So why would Clinton keep walking things back and assuring everyone that he
fully supports Obama? I think it's because he doesn't want to get the
Democratic Party angry at Hillary and him. All he wants to do is poke
enough jabs at the already staggering presidential imposter to help assure
he loses to Romney this fall.

It's a fine balancing act, but is there anyone better than Bill Clinton when
it comes to walking a tightrope? You do remember names like Monica
Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and Gennifer Flowers, don't you? Neither they nor
the Clinton's vast network of enemies were able to bring him down.

Just as (true) conservatives have to start gearing up right now to take on
Mitt Romney if he wins in November, so, too, do they have to start getting
ready for a Hillary comeback in 2016. Hillary is already the most popular
politician in America, and after four years of Mitt Romney's pansy policies,
it would not surprise me if she beat MittMan by the biggest margin in
history if she ran against him.

Warning to those who have drunk the Hillary-Aid: Hillary is every bit as
dangerous as Obama. Remember Hillarycare? Remember "it takes a village?"
Remember "shared prosperity?" Remember "I consider myself to be a modern
American progressive?"

In one way, Hillary is even more dangerous than Obama because, unlike him,
she is part of the system. She knows how to play the game and work with
liberal Republicans like Orrin Hatch, Mitch McConnell, and Eric Cantor in
order to get her way. By contrast, Obama is an outsider who not only
refuses to work with Republicans, he has offended an ever-growing number of
Democrats as well.

True, Obama is clever. But his cleverness has an arrogance to it that
causes him to end up getting himself in trouble. To paraphrase Thomas
Sowell, the problem with clever people is that there is a tendency to try to
continue to be clever long past the point where what they have to lose is
much greater than what they have to gain.

If there is a Romney victory celebration the evening of November 6, don't
get caught up in it. Because while his adoring supporters are wildly
cheering Mitt the Amazing, the HillBillies will already be hunkered down in
their war room, plotting out their 2016 strategy.
