| Domestic Deployment: U.S. Army Chief Says Military Will Be Used To Provide "Rapid Response Options" and Address "Challenges in the United States Itself"

Our founders wanted NO standing armies ... and insisted on including the Second Amendment to assure that we, the people would remain better armed than the new government the founders were creating.

Now we not only have standing armies, armed with weapons that we, the people, are prohibited by force from possessing, but those armies are now apparently "legally" to be used against we, the people ... just as our founders feared.

We live in interesting times.

"I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious."

~~~ Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Ludlow, 1824
So it didn't start in the 20th century?
