Gun Facts Version 6.1 Released
Celebrating May Day by annoying socialists with freedom

San Francisco, CA – May 1, 2012: The latest edition of Gun Facts, the
de facto desk reference for debunking gun control mythology, was
released today and marks its twelfth year in production.

"A wise general once said that when the enemy is on the run, shoot
them in the back," said Guy Smith, editor of Gun Facts. "The gun
control industry has been in full retreat for a decade and I'm
accelerating that process."

Gun Facts categorizes gun control misinformation, and then lists lies
told by gun control advocacy groups. For each piece of anti-gun
propaganda, Gun Facts provides debunking data and over 530 detailed
footnotes citing reliable, independent sources. Anyone can use Gun
Facts to quickly look-up a gun control industry lie and find rock-
solid data to discredit the misinformation.

"In our twelfth year of publication, Gun Facts has earned a large
following that use it daily to defeat gun control initiatives," said
Smith. "Gun Facts has been so useful to so many folks, in over 165
countries around the globe, that it is now the de facto desk reference
for people who prefer freedom."

Over 100 pages, Gun Facts covers topics ranging from "assault weapons"
to concealed carry to gun control's failure around the world. In
every topic chapter, Gun Facts lists each lie told by the gun control
industry using their language. Readers can search the electronic
version of the book to instantly find a lie and the facts that debunk
it.

"Our goal is to pass information ammo to the troops," said Smith. "Gun
Facts is for every man and woman fed-up with intellectual cads lying
while trying to swipe their freedom. This is why Gun Facts is
downloaded over 58,000 times in slow months. The information is
valuable and the price – free – is popular."

Gun Facts has always been available for purchase in print, but with
version 6.1 the price has dropped again and the availability has been
expanded. The new print version is sold through Amazon.com and other
outlets.

"If Michael Bloomberg thought I was slowing down, then he is thinking
as poorly as always," said Smith. "Some fights are eternal, so Gun
Facts will be updated and published as long as I am around … longer
once it is turned over to a foundation."
