Re: The Impermanent Republican Majority

I disagree,  at least with the presidential race.   I can believe that it will be a close election,  because we don't have another Ronald Reagan,  but there is NO WAY that the American public can support the current incumbent communist.....Moreover,  Obama will be vetted this time, even by portions of the mainstream media.

GOP will hold the House.  Dems will lose the Senate.  This is MATH!.  The GOP House majority is just too big.  The Senate dem majority is razor thin, and there are 2.3 dem seats up for grabs for every GOP seat.  In this anti-incumbent climate, dems are screwed.  Wanna wager?
 
On the other hand, incumbent POTUS' nearly NEVER lose (twice in my half century on the planet - one GOP, one dem), so dems will likely keep 1600.
 
I can live with a GOP House AND Senate, especially when Ginsburg retires.
