Re: SANTORUM: SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE 'MAKES ME WANT TO THROW UP'

I am not certain if our tongue is firmly planted in your cheek, but how about some EVIDENCE to support your claims.

Although it had its share of strenuous Christians... the gathering at Philadelphia was largely made up of men in whom the old fires were under control or had even flickered out. Most were nominally members of one of the traditional churches in their part of the country.. and most were men who could take their religion or leave it alone. Although no one in this sober gathering would have dreamed of invoking the Goddess of Reason, neither would anyone have dared to proclaim his opinions had the support of the God of Abraham and Paul. The Convention of 1787 was highly rationalist and even secular in spirit. -- Clinton Rossiter, 1787; The Grand Convention, pp. 147-148

That whole theory about our Founding Fathers being, "Deist"  is horse hockey.  They were Christians; they knew the evils of Islam; and they knew,  some two hundred thirty-five years ago, that there would be folks like you who would attempt to re-write history.

You're a myth believer and you call me a moonbat? That's almost funny.

He would very much like to
rewrite history, and he detests that fact that this Nation was founded

Christian principles and tenets

by men who knew better than to integrate religion into our government.
While many Americans did practice Christianity, so also did many
believe in deistic philosophy, judaism, islam, and a host of other
religions or no religion at all.
To try and give xians credit for founding America or making it a xian
nation is not factual. You're attempt to do so makes you look like a
religious nutcase.
Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion.
