Many Israelis claim that a jew named Jacob invented the cell phone.
They are insistent they invented the cell phone and text messaging,
things invented in the U.S.A. by Americans.

The modern cell phone originated with Martin Cooper who was from
Chicago and not listed as jewish. The underlying technology that makes
cell phones possible, hexagonal cells for mobile phone base stations,
were invented through a joint effort between AT&T and Bell Labs.
