Re: **JP** Fw: Ghairat

Dear Sir, Assalaam o alaikum.  These  incidents  are  realy  brain-storming  for  all  sensitive  and  sensible Muslims,  for  many  reasons  including  the  following:-
1)  Who so ever  hurts  the  feelings  of  others -  he  commits  "SIN" (Gunaah)  and  Almighty  ALLAH  is  the  Supreme Judge  and  we  believe  in  the  'Day of Judgment' (Yaom-uddin) .

2) Those  who  have  learnt  and  understood  ISLAM  wish  to  create  a  noble  &  pious  and noble  environments - which  is  free  from crime,  indecency,  immorality  and  hypocrisy etc,  but,  it  is  our  duty  to  educate  religion in  a  language  which  can  be  understood  by  the  learner,  so  that  others  too  avoid  un-wanted  activities.

3)  There  is  no  compulsion in Religion (Sura Al-Baqara, verse  256) says :-
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things".
Let us promote teachings of Islam more  politely,  respectably  and  gracefully -  instead  ob  being  harsh  or  impolite  or  arrogant.

4) The word "Ghairrat"  appears  very  attractive and  some  times  we  feel proud  to  use  this  word,   but,   you  would  be  surprised  to  know  that  there  is  no  'Book'  or  'Article'  on  the  topic  of  "Ghairrat" in  any  library  of  Pakistan,  because,  ISLAM  teaches  "Sabr -  صبر " (Tolerencve, Patience,  Endurance)  84  times  in  79 verses in  Holy Quraan.  The Word "Sabr"  and  the  word "Ghairrat"  are  adverse  and  opposit  to  each  other ,  hence,  we  need  to  avoid  defying  "Sabr"  by  using  the  word "Ghairrat"  in  our  society.

Let  us  not  forget  that  ISLAM  brings  "inqalaab"  through  character-building  and  not  through  violations.
I  have  great  regards  for  you  because  you  love  the  teachings  of  ISLAM.
Wassalaam.  Your:- Agha Syed Atta-u-Allah Shah, Chairman  Raah-e-Raast Trust.
