Re: Jack Goes All Libtard: Yanks Toys in Kid's Meals

The toys have been a successful gimmick for the companies.  I see no need to stop them.  Especially since the feds say so.  I am at the point that I think we sshould all do the exact opposite of what the commie feds say do.  If enough people, companies, and states tell the feds to stick it they will have to quit this silly crap.  I now consider every liberal, socialist, commie, democrat, and islamist to be nothing but TRAITORS.

hehehehe Well.....Travis.  I agree.  But this is not unique to liberal or conservative or any other political ideology. Both parties are guilty of buying their children toys that make them inactive and I don't think that pulling the toys from the meals has anything to do with ideology.  But I agree-the kids need to get off their ear ends and move more than they eat just like us fat adults.

What a crock of libtarded BS!  It's not the toys making kids fat; it's all that high-calorie, high-carb food combined with a sedentary lifestyle.  Hey, here's an idea:  Throw away the Xbox, get your kids off the computer, turn off the television, and kick your kids out of the house for a few hours so they can play stick-ball or something.  Yes, it really is that simple:

Jack in the Box yanks toys from kids' meals

By Mary Slosson - LOS ANGELES | Wed Jun 22, 2011

(Reuters) - Fast-food chain Jack in the Box has pulled toys from its kids' meals, a spokesman told Reuters on Tuesday.

The move, which managers at Los Angeles outlets said took effect on Thursday, comes as fast-food companies are under pressure to stop using toys to market children's meals that are high in calories, sugar, fat and salt.

Lawmakers in San Francisco and nearby Santa Clara County have passed laws that will require kids' meals to meet certain nutritional standards before they can be sold with toys.

CSPI [Center for Science in Public Interest] in December sued McDonald's Corp, the world's largest hamburger chain, to stop it from using Happy Meal toys to lure children into its restaurants.

Consumer and health advocates are using the announcement to put pressure on McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell and other fast food chains that still include toys in kids' meals.
