Harry Reid wants Obama to bring back those "Clinton Years"

That may be the best idea Harry has ever had.  Anything will be better than this mess we are in now. Even JC would be better.


Harry Reid wants Obama to bring back those "Clinton Years"

If I recall, Republicans recaptured both the House and Senate while balancing the budget during those Clinton years. America is working on making this a reality Harry.

Politico reports:

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Tuesday he wants to hear President Barack Obama give a "long-range view" in his policy speech Wednesday that can restore the fiscal balance "of the Clinton years."

Reid, who will meet with Obama tomorrow before the president makes his address, told reporters Tuesday what he'd like to hear the president say.

"What I hope the president would do is give us a long-range view, where we have to stop giving insurance subsidies to oil companies whose former chief executives say we shouldn't giving them to anyway," Reid said. "I think we should do a lot more to stop shipping jobs overseas. I think we have to look at entitlements — I have no problem with the president doing that."

Harry Reid is the dumbest cowboy poet in Congress. He talks about "looking" at entitlements but doesn't want Social Security to be in the discussion. This is the same guy who claim Social Security isn't broke...despite the system paying out more than it took in.
