Podcast interview re labor action in Wisconsin w/ Lisa Graves

Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview on the
labor struggle in Wisconsin, with Lisa Graves. Lisa is the Executive
Director of the Center for Media and Democracy, in Madison.

What's going on in Wisconsin is no accident. U.S. plutocrats want
newly elected Governor Scott Walker to destroy Wisconsin's public
sector unions because, philosophically, the plutocrats and their
hangers-on want to deny any political voice whatsoever to those
without great fortunes.

The leading role of the billionaire Koch brothers, in particular, in
trying to get rid of American civil liberties in Wisconsin (and
elsewhere all across the country) should not be underestimated. The
brothers inherited the second largest privately held corporation in
America from their father Fred Koch, a virulent right-wing extremist
and founding member of the John Birch Society, now headquartered,
coincidentally, in Wisconsin. Fred Koch, also an admirer of Mussolini,
no doubt passed down many of his hard core political beliefs -- in
short, to put it bluntly, the Koch brothers are extremely dangerous!

We can be certain that if Governor Walker prevails in Wisconsin then
public sector unions everywhere will come under renewed attack. It's a
watershed moment.
