Re: Newsflash: Founding Fathers favored government run health care: Congress Passes Socialized Medicine and Mandates Health Insurance -In 1798

That's the same Congress as passed the Alien and Sedition Acts. Its
apparent view that Congress's powers were unlimited led to
Federalists' defeat at the next congressional and presidential
elections, and to the Federalists' permanent -- permanent -- loss of
control of both the Executive and Legislative Branches.
