Hey Greg,
What gets me about folks like Tom, is that they literally cannot think for themselves. They are reduced to repeating the hateful, prevaricate spew that they hear from sites like Gayapolis, who is written and produced by folks just like Tommy. They haven't had an original thought in their head in twenty years. By example, look at the article that Tom posted above. There is nothing to support his contention that the 112th Congress is less likely to support inherent rights or personal protections, if anything, the Tea Party movement has stood on embracing all aspects of the Constitution. Boehmer just had the Constitution read aloud on the House Floor to demonstrate this new Congress's devotion and determination of getting back to the principals of the Constitution.
Folks like Tom and those at Gayapolis can provide no data that supports their position that the current Congress is less likely to somehow be the big bad wolf to the homosexuals in the Nation, all he can do is play upon fear, as you pointed out. Their rhetoric is hypocritical, in that their actions are exactly what Tom (and probably Gayapolis, that's where Tommy gets his spin and talking points, along with the Daily Kos, TruthOut.org, and the Southern Poverty Law Center, all hate sites) were bitching and complaining about for the last two years, (and as recently as yesterday; "The Grand Obstructionist Party")
Tom has each and every quality of a Moonbat! What's funny, is that he has no clue! Tom thinks that he is in step with America, when in fact Tom and his far left militant brethren march to a totally different beat of different drummers.
