The brains of gay men and women look like those found in heterosexual people of the opposite sex, research suggests.

 

According to reports today from the BBC, the study suggests sexual orientation may be set in the womb

I haven't read the entire thing, and I certainly am not qualified to comment on the quality of the scientific study in question, but given that we know people's brains change according to how people actually use them, I am somewhat skeptical of the way the conclusions are described in the article.  I may be mistaken, but as described, it doesn't seem to follow that scans of fully-developed adult brains reveals a causal link between pre-natal development and adult sexual identity.

Anywhoodles, an interesting read all the same.
