White House Position Vacant: Everyone in Charge But No One Responsible
For real. Your federal government leaps into action to minimize the damaging Wikileaks release of US government classified documents by ordering the US government not to read them. What a freaking joke.
(NY Times) — In a classic case of shutting the barn door after the horse has left, the Obama administration and the Department of Defense have ordered the hundreds of thousands of federal employees and contractors not to read the secret cables and other classified documents published by Wikileaks and news organizations around the world unless the workers have the required security clearance or authorization. Clinton charm falls flat with Iranian minister
"I said 'Hello, minister.' He just turned away."
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was snubbed by Iran's top diplomat, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, during a rare encounter at a Bahrain security conference Friday. "I got up to leave and he was sitting a couple of seats down from me and shaking people's hands and he saw me and he stopped and began to turn away," Clinton told reporters on her plane returning to Washington on Saturday, according to Reuters. (Only al Reuters could attribute "charm" to this delirious nutcase)

Hillary in Kyrgyzstan: Corruption and Double-Speak
Willary Clitman was in Kyrgyzstan (oh, to be in Bishnek now that December is here) yesterday for five (5) hours to pay protection money, I mean, sign a deal to give Kyrgyzzies "a share of lucrative fuel contracts for a critical transit hub here for troops headed to Afghanistan," as the Washington Post reports.
While here, Clinton lauded Kyrgyzstan for taking the initial steps toward democracy, saying the people were "pioneers" among the former Soviet republics in the region. "Parliamentary democracy can help ease tensions between different regions and different groups of people," she said at the town hall meeting. " 'Compromise' is not a dirty word in a democracy," she said. (Diana West/Big Peace)
