Podcast interview re Mexico w/ Dr. George W. Grayson

Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview with Dr.
George W. Grayson, author most recently of Mexico: Narco-Violence and
a Failed State? George is Professor of Government at William & Mary
and has been studying and writing about Mexico for over thirty years.
George was also a liberal Democrat in the Virginia State legislature
for over two decades.

The liberal conventional wisdom on illegal immigration -- that it's
not a real problem -- is completely wrong. It's not just a question of
those poor millions of people who've managed to sneak across our
southern border, and stay, but of the many tens of millions more who
may well want to follow them. And above and beyond that, the border
itself is problematic, with our southern neighbor rapidly devolving
into a semi-failed state.

Mexico presents a complex set of problems where liberals and
conservatives could, and should, find common ground. At any rate,
here's some fodder for reconsidering the conventional wisdom.
