Wonderful! One week before the election and the city of New York finally realizes they have an idiot in charge of elections

The primary was a total disaster, the mayor knew it, the city knew it,
even the NYT wrote about it. Finally a week before the final elections
they fire the guy in charge of the Elections Board. Can you say good
timing? Why in the largest city in the country did it take this long
to realize the head of the board was a total dingbat and fire him. Why
didn't they hire someone who knew what they were doing to handle the new
machines and voting practices. Wouldn't that make some common sense?
Gues that is not needed in NYC.
