Charlie Sheen had a rough night Tuesday.

Responding to calls about a loud, intoxicated male, cops discovered the actor drunk and naked in a trashed hotel room at NYC's Plaza Hotel.

Police reported that the mega-earning Two and a Half Men star, 45, was incoherent on the bed while a naked woman (later identified as an escort) was yelling from the closet.

NBC reports Sheen went nuts because he couldn't find his wallet. He was then hauled off to the hospital; paramedics were reportedly calling it an overdose. His rep says it was an allergic reaction to medication.

The worst part: his two young daughters and ex Denise Richards were next door. They were on a family vacation, but staying separately.

The room has $7,000 in damages; at least he can afford the bill, making $2 million per episode on the CBS show.

Jon Stewart has got influence to spare. The comedian has been named the most influential man of 2010 in an AskMen.com survey.

The props come before the Daily Show host leads the Rally to Restore Sanity in Washington, D.C., Saturday.
